Exclamation Chris Bosh should be able to return to action Friday or Sunday

Now I am not a doctor, but I did see a post on a different forum that was very well researched and suggests Bosh will be back soon.

Andrew Bogut suffered a broken nose, and did not miss much playing time:

Quote:
Milwaukee Bucks center Andrew Bogut underwent a successful procedure this afternoon to reduce a displaced nasal fracture (broken nose), Director of Player Personnel Dave Babcock announced today. The procedure was performed by Dr. Paul Lowenstein, M.D., at Elmbrook Hospital in Brookfield, WI.

Bogut sustained the injury in the fourth period of Wednesday night’s game in Atlanta. He left the game to receive treatment and did not return to action.

Bogut will be required to wear a protective mask for the remainder of the season, but will not play tonight against the Orlando Magic. After tonight, he will be listed as day-to-day.

LeBron went through the same facial injury Bosh is dealing with:

Quote:
LeBron James was seen by team physician Dr. Richard Parker this morning at the Cleveland Clinic. He was fitted for a protective mask for his maxillary fracture. LeBron will be re-evaluated tomorrow at the Cleveland Clinic and his status for tomorrow's game versus the Charolotte Bobcats is officially listed as a "game time decision."
Lamond Murray as well.
Quote:
The Cleveland Clinic and was diagnosed with a maxillary fracture (left cheekbone)... Did not miss any playing time as he wore a protective mask for 14 games
This information tells us that Bosh should be able to return to action by Friday or Sunday at the latest, unless there is something else about his injury we do not know.

Deservedly so. The average time missed for these injuries is a couple of games, maybe three. With his team fighting for a playoff spot, if he doesn't return now...he is soft. (unless his injury is more complicated than we know)

Do we even know exactly what's wrong with him yet?

Lots of speculation, but has there been an official release?

If he did break his nose or another bone in his face i dont see him rushing to come back, lets all remember hes a free agent after this year. Why would he risk further injury to come back to a shitty team that doesn't even deserve a playoff spot.

Well we'll lose tonight and Chicago will lose Tomorrrow vs Cleveland imo, so ultimately i'd rather just get him back for sunday.

our last three games are what matters at this point, vs Chicago, Detroit, NY.

that is a very bold statement. he didn't look too good when he was bleeding all over the floor at the Q. If it was me I wouldn't risk anything for a stupid game doesn't matter if the playoffs are at stake and it certainly doesn't matter how many fans will be disappointed, this is someone's health you are talking about,,, far more important than basketball. what if he comes back ealry and gets knocked on the same spot (which is very likely given the position he plays and the way he rebounds the ball) ,,, he might need a reconstructive surgery that can have a long term effect ... so take a chill pill on this soft label,,, you expect players to make sacrifices ,,, but there is a fine line between plain dumb and tough.

are any of you MD's? or paying Bosh to play? He won't return! period! this team won't win any more games this season with or without him in the lineup... there is very little incentive for him to return to team that has no future. He WILL be healthy for his new team in the fall!

with NO Bosh, NO JJ, NO AW, and maybe we gain a bit with Hedo hurt, but there is no way we beat a healthy Bulls team. Detroit and the Knicks will both beat us if we can't beat the Warriors who are worse! I am not over-reacting, just realistic. there is no reason for Bosh to hurry back as this team won't make the playoffs if he does return!

this season is over! back to the drawing board for BC, this team is mediocre as is, and will be 15 wins worse, at least, if Bosh walks.

I'm sorry no Jarret or Antoine? What are you talking about?

The Bulls aren't healthy either...Noah is out, Deng is still out I think? And they still have a worse record than we do!

If you follow our team you realize we struggle mightily against teams like the Warriors that run and shoot the 3 like they do. New York tries to play that way but we match up well against them and Detroit is nothing like that...so they're winnable games.

But if you want to give up go ahead...it's your perrogative.

I'm thinking atleast 30 wins worse. Putting us in New jersey territory and being the worst team in NBA history should Bosh leave.

Carter for Courtney Lee doesn't seem like such a bad deal. But getting .40 on the dollar like NJ got for Carter will put us into worst team in NBA history category easily.

Didn't they say they will reevaluate the situation in 7-10 days? I remember the doctor in the interview saying that it will be at least 7-10 days because they are waiting for something in his nose to clear up.
