CB4 is putting up monster numbers in January. He's got to be a top Candidate for player of the month.

Also, he's putting up 29.2 points on 69% shooting in his last 5!

If his play as of late doesn't get him to the All-Star weekend, then I don't know what will. He's been amazing and has played like the player we always wanted him to be.

I dont think theres any doubt he will go to the All-Star weekend. 70% in 5 games, thats sick.

Soft! ;)

Too bad it took this long to get going but i'll take it :)

I think he's just finally playing to the level that he can and if he can maintain a semblance of it, he's a viable mvp candidate in the future.

Also, I gotta admit, lately watching Chris play has been an absolute joy.

It really makes you wonder who was that guy wearing the #4 jersey at the beginning of the season. Was he out of shape, was the injury bugging him that much, was he not mentally in the game? Is Calderon starting a factor?

His shot selection is so much improved, and he's playing a lot more games inside-out in January; he doesn't start with his deep 15-18 footers as often. Bargnani REALLY needs to pay attention. Though frankly, I think Bargnani is starting to get it, and I predict Andrea to have a really good March.

Bosh did miss the training camp pretty much. sure he played in some of the pre-season game, but his plantar fasciitis was really bothering him at the time. I suppose it just took him a little while longer to get to 100% both physically and mentally. I would have liked it to come sooner myself, but now that he's there, it's nice to see what a full Bosh can bring.

Me too. You can see it in the past few games that he's starting to "get it" specifically on the defensive end. It's funny becuase now that he's getting rebounds, his offense is looking better too... Hell, even if the offense isn't even looking that good, i'm still happy he's on the court because he's not holding the team back. I guess with Bargnani, it was a confidence issue this whole time.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Bosh's knee was causing the majority if the problems.

fancylad 01-29-2008 08:36 AM

Ah shit, my memory is failing me. I do remember his knee being a problem at some point, and i recall his foot holding him back at the very start - but i can't remember the details.

Acie 01-29-2008 08:38 AM

Knee on knee collision happened in practice in Italy I believe, but yeah both were bothering him.

rapsfan087 01-29-2008 10:25 AM

I think that it was only his knee injury what bothered him in the pre-season, maybe wrong.
