you could sort of tell by the way he was borderline agonizing on the floor, that it was more than just a nosebleed. hopefully his recovery goes smooth, pretty sure he'll be out at least two weeks

What luck huh? I wish him a quick recovery, as that is the most important thing and not solely winning games.

Somehow I don't see this team rallying.

Feel for Chris and i hope he gets through this o.k. This pretty much caps a season of mediocrity for this team and it's very possible he may have played his last game as a Raptor. Even if he wore a mask, it's not likely he would be available for the rest of the regular season.

feel sorry for the dude, he played hard this year and now this. Hopefully the team tries to get into the playoffs for him.

Many years ago, when VC got injured and was out for the rest of the season, the team won their last 10/12 or something and made the playoffs and gave the top seed Detroit a run for their money.

It looked like breathing was his biggest issue when the injury occurred.

As disappointing as this season has been, it's not that much different than any other season. I remember the Raptors fighting to get into the playoffs in the final week when Vince was here and healthy.

For me it has.

This year just really killed any enthusiasm i had for so many things about this team. I feel so duped by Colangelo and I just don't / can't believe in this club anymore.

As for Bosh - sucks about his injury and i hope the guy recovers fast, but it looks to me we can now start to get used to life without him... and believe when i say that i don't see that as a bad thing. For me it's total indifference.

To me the only difference is that the frustration over 15 years has mounted to the point where that indifference comes into play. There's only so many times you can look forward to what might happen next year or the year after. And yeah - it really felt like they were going to get it to another level this season, and now if Bosh goes and Hedo doesn't want to be here, the question becomes who does want to be here? This team could very well become a farm team for the rest of the league. We might feel nostalgic for the feelings of indifference soon.

i feel sorry for him and the team...

and i suddenly remind the blames and jokes after hedo got an similar injury and i can't see any of them in this tread... so it means similar injuries make some members feel not similar ...

Main difference is that team had heart. This one hasn't shown much of that this year..aside from a few guys.

C. Webber and K. McHale spoke the same thing last night. They also told it may take 10 days to 2 weeks to start wearing a mask with such an injury. We gotta hope Raps make the playoffs.
