Default Chris Bosh in the Clutch

How many missed opportunities and butchered shots at the buzzer is it going to take this coaching staff to realize that Chris Bosh can't deliver in the clutch?

I can't even stand watching him with the ball with the clock ticking down, knowing that he's decided what he's going to do with the ball already. With confidence I can tell you that he knew he was going to pull that up and under move no matter how the defense was playing him. This is why Chris Bosh can't be a clutch performer - he doesn't react to what the defense is giving him.

He just needs to learn to be more assertive and aggressive.

He also needs to have a wingman who can create off the dribble in those situations. I'd much rather see Chris taking a feed from someone else than him trying to create a shot for himself.

how many shots at the buzzer did Michael Jordan make?

Now count how may he missed.

Cut Bosh some fucking slack, he missed, bad move/shot/whatever.

Move on man.

I remember him Jacking one in Somebodies eye nicely last year FTW.

He hasn't had a coach make it simple for him in those situations. They leave him with to many options with to much pressure on his decision. They treat him like Wade or Lebron. Make the decision for him, make it as simple as ABC 123. Run him off a screen that you know will get him open for just a split second, for a shot he has to take. Catch, shoot.

He doesn't have a go to move in those situations so the coaches have to simplify it. And that's not a bad thing. It could be really good thing.

Bosh is not a rookie at this point... so, no more excuses... he has to deliver.

IMHO... Grunwald would have been better off if he got Wade instead but he didn't...

But at least when Michael Jordan had the ball you were as confident as you could be in a situation like that. Can you honestly say that you're confident with Chris Bosh facing up with the clock winding down? I can't.

i love bosh,BUT.hes not the guy you put the ball in his hand for crucial buckets and in crunch time.he has consistently shown he has BUTTERFINGERS and is UNCLUTCH.just because hes our supposed "FRANCHISE GUY"that doesnt mean its his birthright to have the ball with the game on the line.CHRIS Bosh IS A GREAT PLAYER BUT IS NOT CLUTCH.

He needs to learn he isn't a clutch preformer. Bargs or AP should be the people taking clutch shots not Bosh

And missing a shot in the clutch is MUCH different than taking a bad shot in the clutch. If he were simply missing shots, I'd be happy to cut him some slack. Bosh consistently fails at producing quality shot opportunities with the game on the line. Straight up.

AP.. are you kidding me? Have you been watching all season... or even the last boston game? AP runs at full speed and then gives the guy a leaning stepback fadeaway. Who does he think he is? Michael Jordan?

We need Baron Davis or Vince Carter.

Let's just conveniently forget everything the guy does to get it to where the game can be won in the last second, and then forget also that he shouldn't be working for that, but for securing a comfortable lead down the stretch. He simply doesn't have the guys around him, save Bargnani.

Then the spotlight ends up on him in the dying moments. Not a nice situation for anyone. I'd bet that he gains a lot from this season in the long run though. I think that's already starting to happen. And he's been playing some nice defense, again without the guys around him save Bargnani.

He is not the person that should be taking the final shots. AP even Bargs, not bosh.

Today was nothing new. It's the same thing Bosh has been doing throughout his career in Toronto.

He can't even handle the ball during a final shot without fumbling it. Why don't they give it to a guard or Bargnani?

What's so ridiculous is whenever Bosh turns the ball over on one of his awkward drives, he flails about (and sometimes even flops to the floor) instead of running back on defense in an attempt to draw a foul. Sorry Chris, the refs are onto you. Just because you lost the ball doesn't mean you were fouled. Now stop whining every time you think the refs missed a call because of your "butterfingers" as Quad Core calls it.
