because the stat chrisholm used is very subjective and misleading.

lowry's defence has been fine this season, case in point, whenever caldy comes on for him our defence goes to shit.

defensive problems? start at the point. manuel, gtfo! I'd rather have a stopper as a backup than a point guard who can't play a lick of D or penetrate offensively.

i'll repeat this, if you watch bargnani, closely, on the defensive end, he's doing just fine. actually, well. casey shouldn't be playing a mid range effective shooter with a great high post game on the fcking 3 point line. if only demar could shoot threes

is there anyway to get millsap for bargnani? cause he would really match what casey's trying to do on the offensive end.

Too bad. BC had so much potential.

I'd love Millsap however I think it would be easier to get Jefferson than him.

Bargnani is not doing fine on the defensive end. He's been worse, but he's so unaware and inactive on so many possessions it isn't funny. And he's been very soft.

Lowry hasn't been great in a lot of games either, losing a lot of lateral movement. The last couple games he's looked really good in the second half, and looks like he's trying to save his foot through the first half.

Demar has spent an awful lot of time at the 3 spot to accommodate the 2 pg combos, and the extra minutes from Ross, and he's fought and hustled rather consistently.

I still contend that there has been too much emphasis on offense since the end of last season, as directed by Colangelo. And this team simply isn't good enough to take the focus off defense at all without paying a price, especially with so many added pieces and no sense of how to incorporate them in a proper rotation. They got way ahead of themselves thanks to Colangelo's wishes for offense.

I'm still not sure who they would replace BC with. If they let Casey go, Nate Mcmillan and Jerry Sloan are options.

Getting happier every day that I decided to not watch the Raps for at least a season, maybe two, after this one. We're going to be in the hole for a while up here.

over-the-horizon worst case scenario is that after all this and missing our pick—and not adding more young cheap talent to a team that needs it—Lowry ends up walking after next season. and its hard to blame someone for wanting out of such a dysfunctional organization. (but, of course, he doesn't walk until collangelo has sacrificed the few young talents we have to appease kyle and try and keep him. and of course, yet again, this ends up going the way of JO and Hedu... oh man, i'm going to make myself sick)
