only way I see it happening is if there is a GM out there that loves Bargs for whatever reason..... I mean he could get into shape....but nobody from what they say in the media, seems to be pressuring him too, and he doesn't seem wired to do it himself.

Its fucking unbelievable. So all these guys, who are so much better than the GM here, are going to hop to the phones to say HELL YES LET US GIVE YOU OUR FUTURE FOR YOUR HORRID PAST!

Ya, thats about right, if BC cannot trade Bargnani right now for a great return, he is shitty, because the guys that are smarter than him, wont take what he's offering.

hhahaha

Classic
If he's "untradeable" now then BC only has himself to blame.

He hung onto Bargs for WAY too long. Should have been dealt 3 or 4 seasons ago when it would have been easier to say "Hey, he's still a young player with loads of potential... he just doesn't fit our team."

And if BC could trade Hedo.... he should sure as shit be able to trade Bargs.

Oh, just a shot at the GM.

Good on ya.

Makes what point about how to trade him?

Hmm?

You're right. Nothing is EVER BC's fault because he's here in Toronto where it's impossible to put together a decent team.

Just disregard those Glen Grunwald years. That was pure luck.

That's because you're defending the dude (BC) suggesting that he wouldn't get anything of value in return for Bargs.

I think that's bullshit. I hate Bargs with a passion but I still realize that he's a 7fter that can shoot 3s and score the ball. There have to be at least a FEW teams out there who see some value in that.

1. He can't shoot 3's.
2. he is only 6'5" the way he defends and rebounds so opposition GMs arent dumb, they see his size and negligible.

Trust me, unless he makes a dramatic turn, he has zero value right now. That has nothing to do with anyone but him.

So, if you think BC sucks, fine, but if he sucks, what would that say about any GM that accepted Bargnani..let alone for a kid like Faried???

oh hold on, Ross and Calderon were included... hahaha Yeehaw!

Again.... ORL's GM took Hedo and his hideous contract after a stinker of a season here in TOR. And dude was OLD!

Why would it be ridiculous to think that some team would take a chance on Bargs? If you have a strong defensive C and a SF who can rebound he might be a good fit on a team like that.

Yup.

Also, you and I've discussed this before, have LKZ and Amir (or ED) start.

Valid point and OKC as far a team like that? see trade proposal above...

It all depends if Colangelo and Stefanski feel Bargnani has peaked or not. They have the inside scoop and what's causing his obvious slump, but it doesn't matter what any of us fans or writers/analyst think. It comes down to those two fellas, mainly BC. I believe it's time to atleast consider it or explore options around it. If it motivates or spakrs AB to play better,he may actually be what the Raptors need. 7 years of hope makes that seem unlikely though.

Yes, Bargs playing against tired starters or less skilled reserves could really give the second unit and himself a lift. Its all about the team,it should be tried when Lowry returns because AB has better chemistry with Calderon anyway. He could be to the Raptors what Ginobili,Terry and Harden were/are to their respective teams coming off the bench. His most impactful season towards the team was in his rookie season, when he was essentially the 6th man. Raptors won the division with an equal potential roster as the current one,Bargs off the pine was a big reason why. Coming off the bench isn't a demotion for him either,if he's having a good game or the hot hand,he should be on the court in crunch time and still rack up 25-30 mpg.

Anyone can be dealt in the nba.

Not impossible. You need the right team though. OKC? ATL (JSmoove would play SF, however unlikely as they don't really have anything the raps want beside him or Horford)? I think Charlotte could be an option (considering they have MKG at SF).

Denver would be stupid to trade Faried for Bargs.

That guy might be the hardest working player in the L right now when it comes to game time. I would take that and RUN.

How many times did I get an angry lecture about how a ton of GM's would take Bargnani in a heartbeat. And that was before his 13 games of masterful artistry. Some people just like giving angry lectures.

ALL CAPS BABY! I AM STARDUST! I AM GOLDEN! AND I'VE GOT TO GET MYSELF A FACE TO FART IN!
