You can always check here for questions like that: NBA Trade Machine - ESPN

Regardless, they have no need for Jose with JRue already there. So essentially they're trading their starting SF for a back up PG and PF.

All I want to avoid is the middle ground - as Jeff said above, if you grab Nash, you'd better be adding another top talent - Iggy would be perfect actually.
after the two free shots last night...Iggy will be real dream for Raptors's fan

Not my dream
I would be ok to get him as a salary dump, but to give assets in return? Not so much.
Let's put it like this, would you rather give Davis and pay igoudala 14/yr, or pay Gordon 16 and retain Ed?

An interesting trade would be Bargnani for ai straight up, but we'd really struggle to score then, even with Nash. Of course, our defense would be top 3, but I'm not sure if it will be good enough.

One thing about having Nash is that we'd really maximize our assets and increase their trade value, that would be one long term benefit if we sign him. The other benefit is that it will make it easier to attract FAs, since everybody likes Steve.

absolutely, igoudala and jv are massive upgrades over gray and james johnson/rashual butler and davis is a mild ugprade over bargnani, especially if he improves his strength this summer. Add to that a full training camp for casey and it's not that far fetched. To get into the top 5, we'd only have to give up 3 points less per 100 possesions - don't forget we finished the year 14th in defensive efficiency, we're not that far.

and Calderon wouldn't start since we'd have nash.

DD and Iggy better be able to hit the 3. Or wait, Lamb could be drafted Nash, Lamb, and Iggy would be interesting.
