To be perfectly honest I feel like the NBA has already been like Major League baseball (just a handful of championship-calibre teams) for the past 30 years or so.

This past season was the 1st one in a while that had some genuine intrigue to it with BOS, CHI, LAL, DAL, MIA, and SAS all having a legit shot to win a title.

I do agree though that a hard cap that could truly level the playing field would be awesome. If only.....
