The only full time spot up 3pt shooter is Bargs. I was quite impressed by Triano putting Peja in as Bargs backup, too bad he didn't have time to find out if it works out.
If there's no room for Peja's 3pt shooting in the offense, then what are the Raps gonna do when they sign a different guy who's meant to be a 3pt threat? They're gonna sign this new guy but not have any room in the offense? It's called makiing adjustments and I don't see why Triano can't do that for Peja. He still has a quick release (thats what she said)

The guy is done and alot of fans seem to remember him from his tenure as a King. I thought he looked done in Indiana personally but meh.

He kills you on defence and really offence too as he doesn't have that foot speed or well, isn't fast enough to play the up tempo game we have right now.

As for the future, yes, finding a guy with Peja's former skill set (high iq, great range, decent first step etc) is key. If JR Smith decided to grow a brain, he'd be a really nice fit. It's another reason why OJ Mayo would be an ideal fit but, well, we have nothing to offer.
Sure, and where has that up-tempo offense taken the Raps thus far?? Exactly...they suck. Frankly I'm tired of seeing them blow so many fast breaks whether it'd be a long pass, selfish Barbosa, one pass too many, etc.
Maybe Triano should slow the offense down and make room for a 3pt shooter...one we already have in Peja (if healthy).

haha...you want triano to slow the offense down just to find the right fit for peja? What about the other 10 or so guys on this roster who thrive on the fast break? This team would get crushed on the regular if it didn't make a habit of getting out and running.

This team's future success will lie in its ability to carry out and execute plays in the halfcourt. They're not there yet. We still lack a playmaker, a guy that can consistently go out and not only get his own points but make plays for other guys. Can DeMar be that guy? The light looks like it might be coming on. But again, not yet.
