![]() "for the first time ever the team allowed fewer points per 100 possessions with Bargnani on the court than off of it."
not true, from 82games.com (http://www.82games.com/1112/11TOR15.HTM): Stat ON Court OFF Court Net Minutes 1031 2161 32% Offense: Pts per 100 Poss. 105.4 100.1 +5.3 Defense: Pts per 100 Poss. 108.2 105.1 +3.1 Net Points per 100 Possessions -2.9 -5.1 +2.2 For the first time ever the team had a positive net points per 100 possessions with Bargnani on the court than off of it (well technically, not the first time ever, in 07-08 it happened but it was 0.2 net points meanwhile last season it was 2.2 which is much more significant). |

I can see this group coming together, just hope our wings can bring the physical edge necessary that we lost with JJ. LK is physical but slower. Fields is active but not as strong and quick. Ross is young and not filled out. DD needs to impose his size at the 2 on both ends. |

![]() I don't think so, there's a lot of smoke and mirrors in our defensive game right now, and there's only so far you can go with that. We still lack a true perimeter defender, Bargnani even at his best, is not much better than average, and there's no way he maintains focus every game of the season. Demar still looks fairly bad and JV is apt to make a lot of rookie mistakes. And our bench is an offensive juggernaut, but lacks good perimeter defense.
I'd be happy to maintain our top 15 ranking, because I really think our offense will surprise people, we should easily be top 20 and I'm hoping for a top 13 finish. |

![]() I can see DD learning though. He seems like a student of the game...willing to take criticism and work on his game. Let's not forget he did start out his career with Jay Triano.
