he's terrible. he's lame attitude is the LAST thing I'd want mentoring young players.

Battier, thats a whole different situation. All pro that guy. I'd overpay for him.

Yeah I'd prefer Battier. But a guy like Barnes who is a little rough around the edges would be good for this team imo.

Yes that's is who I am referring too. I think he would be really good for this team pending on his salary expectations. He has already made his money and as you say he has battled injury, so I think this is a realistic possibility. He isn't going to have tremendous expectations as to touches, so splitting time with JJ or coming off the bench may not be such a big issue. And he may serve as bit of mentor, considering he is a Sloan product.

Yup. I was thinking the same thing during the Heat series. This off-season, I think the Bulls are going to be working hard to try and improve at the SG position. Crawford could be an option, assuming he accepts the MLE (and the MLE is still available for use after CBA negotiations) or the Bulls work a sign and trade with Atlanta.

I think Chicago will go after J.R. Smith, who is younger and more athletic than Crawford.

Back to the Raptors, another guy that should strongly be considered is Tyson Chandler. If the Raptors deal Bargnani or Davis, Chandler would be a great fit in the middle. He's tough, defends and rebounds extremely well, and plays with intensity.

Well, that's been said here for months. Chandler would be great here, but will Dallas not re-sign him?

That's an option. It would be kinda funny, since Chicago originally traded Smith to Denver.
