It's all about finding who can make up for Andrea's ballwatching. This team is starting to turn me off completely.
I want to see real improvement on defense. That's going to take more than cosmetic changes. Let's see that accountability we've heard so much about. |

Imo, Casey should have never emphasized offense in training camp and just worked on defense. |

When Lowry's back, I'd think a tone setting lineup o start....
Lowry DD Anderson Bargnani Amir Ross and JV have some learning to do but can still get minutes on the 2nd unit. Fields has lost his confidence. He is not doing anything with authority. 2nd Calderon Fields Kleiza Ed JV |

I still think JV starts
Lowry/Calderon Derozan/Ross/Fields Anderson/Kleiza/Fields Bargnani/Davis/Amir/Acy Valanciunas/Amir/Gray Man I wish Colangelo went after Mayo hard this offseason instead of pitching a deal for Nash and signing Fields. A summer of Mayo + Lowry would have been a lot better than this crapfest. I still have a feeling that somehow we'll end up signing Pietrus. Anyway, I'll take Anderson's defense in the starting lineup with being the 4th option on offense and have three scorers off the bench (Calderon, Ross, Kleiza). This teams has severely missed Linas Kleiza so far which goes to show how shit that position is for us. Last edited by jeffb; 11-19-2012 at 03:56 PM. |

Don't know if was even possible since he really wanted to be in Dallas but I would absolutely have loved if we could have got him. Rather overpay for him than Fields. Lowry/ Calderon/ Lucas Mayo/ Ross/ Anderson Derozan/ Kleiza/ Anderson Bargnani/ Davis/ Acy Valanciunas/ Amir/ Gray If Derozan can't cut it at SF (mainly on D) you still have your assets (ie: DD, Ross, Calderon's expiring, Davis) to try and go after that SF, Gay/Deng etc..... Has to be Landry, I mean he took 4 shots (1of4) and no FT, in 19 min. So not only is he afraid to shoot he won't even drive and create contact. I don't recall ever being this disappointed in a Raps' player in quite awhile. I dont mind LK starting...AA's hustle has earned him some time IMO, if LK is not quite ready to put starter minutes in.

please no Anderson. Not in starting not anywhere. He's a D-leaguer
Dominic McGuire is who you want. He will guard the better wing player and provide help defense for Bargs. Dude is talented and deserves it. |

take shot away from Anderson and you are left with nothing. Actually you are left with a chucker. Who is taking minutes away form Ross.
Dominic on the other hand had everything but the shot, and apparently hes got midrange going now. |
