And look who he has at number 9.

With Bosh expected to opt out in 2010, the Raptors know there's a good shot he'll leave for a team better positioned to win -- New York, Miami and Chicago all come to mind.

If Colangelo trades him this summer, he could get back an important piece to help rebuild his team. But if he waits and rolls the dice that he'll be able to re-sign him, and then loses Bosh for nothing, the Raptors will take a major step backward.

I said there was only a 5 percent chance of him being traded at the deadline. I'd increase that to 25 percent this summer.

I can't believe the Blazers didn't do the deal for Vince. That would have been highway robbery.

I'm surprised Dirk isn't on that list.

Dirk just said that he wants to spend rest of his career with the Mavericks, and the way he has been playing, I doubt they would trade him.

I mean they haven't won with him, their core is getting old, and sooner or later Mark Cuban is going to have to take a step back and figure out how he's going to start rebuilding the team. The way Dirk is playing now you could easily get some prospects and draft picks for him which should be enough to hit the ground running. Who knows, maybe Dirk resigns in Dallas when his contract is over.

Ford: 75% chance Bosh is still a Raptor when training camp starts.

I think people would be more hesitant to deal for Bosh knowing he's a FA at the end of the 2009-10 season. I doubt that GMs in the league would be willing to give 2 pieces of their young core for someone they can have 9 months down the road.

I'm all for keeping Bosh and surrounding him with talent (ie re-upping Marion and drafting someone like Teague).

A good point actually, never really thought about that. Then again, Chris Bosh presents a nice 20 ppg guy for a championship push / expiring contract combination that can still be attractive over a nine month period.

I say we have to wait and see. Bosh is injured, He said his knee would not be 100% until the off season which means we will not see Bosh playing at 100% till next year. Unless is states that he wants out this summer, hes not going anywhere. Shit even ford thiks he has a 75% chance of staying, in my eyes those are some pretty good odds

The only way another team will want him is if he got an extension. I don't see a trade going down otherwise

25 percent doesn't seem to be a bad number. I bet a lot of other players could fit in that range.

Did the Blazers really reject 2 firsts + VC for LaFrentz?! I know VC's contract runs beyond holy grail summer of 2010 but they could have been instant title contenders this year

Well that is what Chad Ford is saying, but VC with Roy, Aldridge and Oden could do a lot of damage in the playoffs.

Thats my train of thought, If we get a top 15 pick we could potentially add a solid player off the bench or maybe work some sort of deal involving Kapono and or Parker, good teams love guys like them. Although if Bargnani continues to improve they do form a solid front court as is. Still need some sort of slashing two guard type player.

what is with the fucking media, I HATE media hype, because it actually makes up the general publics minds for them, and creates waves of negativity that actually become real when there was NOTHING there in the first place.

All the shit they toss at Toronto from south on the border, is making almost impossible NOT to trade him, and why???????????????????????????????
