Chad Ford: Bosh will end up in Chicago

Where do you honestly think Wade, Bosh, Amare, and Lebron will go next year if you had to make a prediction?

Wade - Miami, LeBron - Miami, Bosh - Chicago, Stoudemire - Nets

Philly isn't even playing Brand. Ship him to Chicago for Tyrus Thomas and Kirk Hinrich?

Chad Ford
I'm sure Philly would LOVE that deal. But why would Chicago do it. Yes, the Bulls need a low post scorer badly. But Brand is just a shell of his former self. Do a trade like this and Chicago also wrecks their cap space this summer. I still feel they have a great shot at landing a top tier free agent ... especially Chris Bosh.

Lebron - Miami? Ford is off his rocker. Why would he go there and Wade's not there? If Lebron is going to leave Cleveland, he's going to end up in New York or Brooklyn/Jersey.

Bosh to Chicago
the team isn't that great especially if they have to a S&T that includes Noah and/or Deng

Doesn't Chicago have the cap space without having to give up Noah/Deng/Hinrich etc?

Colangelo will have to do some serious sweet talking to make it happen. Why would Chicago do an S&T when they can just sign Bosh outright?

Won't they be at 37 mil next season? Miller comes off the books, so does Jerome James and Tim Thomas' salary. That's 23 million. Add Jannero Pargo and it's 25 million. With Bosh, it would be they'd be up to 9 players, but I'm sure they could find 3-4 players who would take the minimum to play.

I got it from here: HoopsHype - NBA Salaries - Chicago Bulls

$37,669,826

and I think the cap is $56 mil, so its basically $18 for Bosh

I don't think the Raps will end up with much in a S&T..I can't think of any examples where the team lending the main talent received anything resembling equal worth..Suns got Diaw for Joe Johnson I think..Maybe we can finally get Chris Quinn out of Miami!

sign and trade for Bosh means more money for Bosh, as the raps can give him the most money where if a team signs him outright than he would not get his full max value. so its kind of a win win for both team and player. Chicago may want to trade a few players in a sign and trade to give them more flexablity in obtaining new players.

If they went and signed Bosh outright they would be pushed to the cap and which means they couldnt use any exceptions, they would have to sign 5 players at the very least 3 players at min value.

Where if they say put Deng in a s and t deal, they would have an extra 8 - 10 million to play with on adding other players. Or they could create a deal adding more players with the raps that would put them over the cap so they could use their mid level and veteren exceptions in free agency to round out the roster.

Might take some creative manuevering, but they can fit him in. Problem is, they would be giving up any MLE or LLE flexibility, so perhaps the Bulls would be pressing for a S & T, but it won't involve guys like Noah or Deng. Seriously, I wouldn't do Bosh or the Bulls any favour with the S & T. I'd just ask for a 1st and that's it. Problem is, we'd only have 10 mil and not a lot to fill the C/PF void. We'd probably end up throwing the money at David Lee or Tyson Chandler. Yuck.

Chandler is a solid guiy with the right pg attatched to him.

Jose needs to be moved this season and paired with someone like Amir(Once evans is healthy) to grab a higher paid center off someone in need of a point guard(Philly comes to mind)

Seriously, if this team wants to be successful, they need to trade Bargnani for a true, traditional 5, even if it's for Brendan Haywood and filler. Haywood and Foye for Bargnani. Perfect.

So you seriously think that if we S&T Bosh to a 6yr/120+Mil deal and we'll get nothing. Are you high? If he is S&T the other team has no choice but to give up close to 20Mil/yr worth of players. We would do just fine in a deal.

Maybe.

Maybe not.

I dont now how Bosh would fair with a traditional center clogging the lane on offense, maybe it wouldnt be an issue at all.

That is why I would rather see the team do something like Jose and Amir for Dalembert or something along those lines to see how a pairing of Bosh and Daly works.

If it works out then I would trade Bargs for depth and picks for sure, maybe try for a Bargs and Wright for Ellis and Watson or something like that

Jack/filler/Banks
Ellis/Derozan/Belli
Turk/Wright/Weems
Bosh/Evans/Pops
Daly/Rasho/POB

So, you trade Bargnani for Haywood and Foye, which doesn't really make us any better imo. Then Bosh wants out in the summer and you got no scoring whatsoever up front?? The fact is if Bosh stays after this season they maybe trade Bargnani and package him with Jose. But you can't trade Bargnani then risk going into next season without him and Bosh. One of them will be here next season and possibly both if Bosh stays.
