Default CBS sports - What's left to do?

They do all the teams. Here's what they see lies ahead for the Raptors.

What's left for Eastern Conference teams to do this offseason? - CBSSports.com

Quote:
TORONTO RAPTORS

Estimated Cap Room: None. $2.7 million under the luxury tax
Free Agents: Sebastian Telfair (Early Bird rights), Alan Anderson (Non-Bird rights), Mickael Pietrus (Non-Bird rights)
Position Needs: Nothing really

What do they need next?

This Raptors team also seems set. Their versatile frontcourt with Amir Johnson, Jonas Valanciunas, Steve Novak, Tyler Hansbrough, and Quincy Acy seems deep enough and mobile enough to give the Raptors plenty of options inside. On the wings, they're mostly going to go with a rotation of Rudy Gay, Terrence Ross, and DeMar DeRozan. The likelihood that there are spare minutes to go around on the wing for a 15th player that brings them closer to the cap seems low.

Perhaps, they could re-sign Alan Anderson for the bi-annual exception, but it really doesn't seem like a completely necessary move.

We have 1.5 Centers. Am I the only one that kinda thinks we need another Center so Gray doesn't see the floor?

Acy is a PF despite the idiocy of playing him at SF. Novak can play PF. Gay can play PF in small ball situations. TH is a PF. Another C isn't necessary although I wouldn't mind someone like Pittman.

We should have kept Camby, simple as that. He could give us 12 mpg while JV gives another 36 or so and keep Gray just for emergency.

On the other hand if Gray plays like 5 minutes a game, it shouldn't be that bad. He had few good games last season.

Can't have anyone on this team who doesn't wanna be here.

And it's not like Gray has done poorly. He just sucks as a player. He's met his expectations big time while here. He's a really big body, sets those picks and rebounds. He can also get easy layups no problem. Done his job, so I don't mind him being given 10 minutes max a game.

Everything except guard Kobe. :mattyd:

Gray is OK for limited minutes. People expecting too much of a sub C on this team.
