iRap - how is marketing a disgrace to the organization? They do it every day. And he was talking about the boys and girls clubs - how despicable huh?
First of all Chris Bosh was wearing adidas, so im sure he got some luchie from adidas. Second of all lookin at the record/effort, no one wants to go to raps games anymore, so he acts funny and tries to encourage us to come to the game vs detroit who has smoked us in the past 5 years? That top 10 list about Bosh or whatever thread it was, they should add this to the list. Because im sure there hasn't been an all-star ever losing this much then going on their cities local news and trying to convince fans to come see the raptors.

Yeah, he should say the fans should not go to the games!

lol no its not like that, but I mean i dispise his vidoes and everything. I mean im not pointing the finger at him that its his fault this year. But at least have some sympathy man, like your team is losing, stay out of that kind of stuff. I mean did you see the way he was acting, it seemed like this whole season was just fine.

I'm going to have to disagree with you on this one. I see no problem with Chris or any other player on the team doing something like this. It's his day off, it brings a smile to some viewers' faces, he mentions a good cause... what's wrong with that?

If anything, it was actually refreshing to see CB "having some fun" for a change.

when u go downtown to the acc, and u see those poor people do u see Bosh helping them out or any other player? If u notice the Raptors foundation is sponsered by DANON. Trust me Im studying broadcast, and this year is a perfect example. Win or lose, the players, association, media, everyone makes there money. If you notice in every postgame, when they are interviewing a player/coach, you will see adidas logo in the background ALWAYS. It brings a smile to some viewers faces? I just give it a nod and just say to myself how disgraceful it is

a. You and I have no idea how charitable ANY of these athletes really is. so why assume anything?

b. sponsorship exists in every single sport all over the world in all varying skill levels... i can't say i have a moral objection to it.

c. I enjoyed Bosh's weather report. It was 10,000,000,000,000 X better than Michael Kuss's

Get a grip, man.

The whole fucking NBA is sponsered by Adidas. He talked about the Raptors game for about 5 seconds of the 5 minutes he was on the air. He was invited by CTV to fill in and he did it. I guess he should just be locked up and not allowed to be seen in public until they have a winning record.

Seriously, what's your problem, dude? Keeping in mind that it's the CFTO forecast, they're bringing in Toronto personalities.

Just because we're losing this year doesn't mean the guys should stay out of the limelight/public image (well, positive public image). You still want to appeal to the community and stay in touch.

So what should he have done because it's a losing season? Go on a cursing tirade on air?

not to mention that Pinball is also one of the most well known and recognizable people in the entire city and Canadian football for that matter.
