If so, that's looking very sad right now!But with Sundin gone and nobody on the loafs taking his mantle is Chris Bosh Toronto's main athelete.IMO it's him or Roy Halladay? Take your pick.

Are you talking about who's more recognized around the world, or the better player in their league?

Because if it's the former, it's most certainly Bosh, and the latter is quite obviously Halladay.

I mean the athlete with the most attention and the most fans/Following!

Who garners the most attention in Toronto Sports?

It's probably Bosh, though it deserves to be Halladay. Doc is just too soft-spoken, though, to be a huge star.

Regardless. They still get more attention.

The other day I was listening to the FAN590, and they were replaying the conversation (I think Lajoie, sp?) with Routins son, and all of the sudden they had "Breaking News." ... Some hockey palyer got hit in the face with a soccer ball, and was questionable for the game.

Seriously...

I'm not talking about the Loafs or the sport of Hockey itself. Who is the face of the Leafs? Their All-Star? They don't have a star.Individually, who is the face of Toronto professional Sports. I don't see any leafs on billboards around town, at the very least not as many as Bosh and/or Halladay.

In other words:

Face of the Leafs (?)- VS Face of the Raps (CB4)- VS Face of the Jays (Halladay)

Who really is the main guy in Toronto and which one gets the most praise/attention in his respective league? IMO, no Leaf is on that radar thank god. Can you imagine the attention the team would get if a Crosby type of player played for the leafs? Yikes!

I know, I'm just saying it's hockey related. Brian Burke... lol

Bosh is probably best athlete, along with Doc, that's for sure. But the face? No team is successful at this point, so I don't see one definite that the city can gather around.

Individually though, both Bosh and Halladay are perenial All-Stars and are reguarded as one of the best at their respective positions.

He might've won it last year, but this year he doesn't deserve to win it

everyone likes Halladay, I haven't heard anyone say a bad thing about him. He is also the best pitcher in baseball and shows loyalty to the team.

There are people that criticize Bosh a lot more than Halladay.

Roy Halladay won a Cy Young
Bosh hasn't been the MVP yet

I agree with everything u say but sadly atm, Bosh is the face of toronto in sports Halladay's got all of the credentials but he's not vocal...he's more of a quiet leader...vernon wells' is skilled but not top tier :/

Halladay isn't the best pitcher in Baseball. He's top 5 which is great but he won 1 Cy Young 5-6 years ago.He was second this season in CY young voting in the American league.

Doc is definately one of the best pitchers in the league, and if he had a team that would put up better numbers he would have more Cy's, he is more consistent then almost any pitcher you can put in the top 5, so he is as close to 1 as anybody i can think of.

Halladay throws one bad pitch and starts cursing like a pirate and showing way to much emotion for a occupation where you're going to be throwing 90+ pitches. He let's his mistakes get to him way to much, and has to get a bit realistic with his expectations. You're not going to throw a perfect game every night.

I like that kind of emotion, it drives him to be the best, which he is definately up there. His expectations of himself are higher then anybodys of him, i bet any truely grea athlete you talk to is the same. Striving for perfection cant be frowned upon so i dont get your point, its not like it affects his gamen negatively after and he pitches bad trying to make up for it, he is about the most consistent pitcher in the game for the last 5 years.
