Cb4 Mvp???
Chris Bosh has been getting a lot of love in the American Media. Has the time come that he is ready to be in the Mix for MVP? I wrote a blog about it and you can read it if you like. But even if you don't that is ok. Do you think Bosh can ever reach the level of being in the MVP conversation?

The Blog About it:

"Ever" is such a non-commital word... Anything is possible, but for as long as LeBron and Kobe (and Wade) are around, Bosh won't be in serious contention, IMO.

It's all about winning 60+. If Lebron can't do that, he won't get a sniff. Same goes with Bosh, as it did with Kobe.

If the raps can win 60+ then Bosh might be in contention

If you don't win in the playoffs then forget about it. Even the best record in the NBA doesn't guarantee that. Bosh is an all-star but needs to be a killer to become an MVP. Kobe is an assassin! Bosh needs that. Not there yet.

No small TV market player will win MVP unless they are larger then the NBA and are on one of the top teams. Stern wouldn't have it any other way.

As long as Kobe,Lebron,Nowitzki,Paul are in the league and CB4 plays in Canada he would need to get 33PPG/11RPG and get to the third round of the playoffs to beat out any of them IMO.He needs to be head and shoulders above all of them to even be considered.

Just to point out something rather obvious - the MVP voting is OVER BEFORE the playoffs begin. So, going deep in the playoffs will only affect the next year vote, if anything.

I was just going to say that. If the raps can do really good with Bosh doing even better than he might win MVP because it wouldn't matter if the raps get out of the first round of tthe playoffs then. Remember Nowitzki, he won the MVP award but lost in the first round to the GS Warriors

He may or may not be an MVP guy, but you can be sure as shit that he'll make a Youtube video about it.

LX 08-18-2008 05:53 PM

And if he makes a video he'll use that Car Salesman character to say that he's a hum-dum-dinger from dingersville.

if he does win it
its going to bring down past winners big time

Yeah... I love Bosh but I think he'd have to step up A LOT to get into MVP territory. For starters making D12 look like a ho' on a consistent basis.

Hehehe ... D12 and CB4 can't be compared based on their Olympic performance. They have around a totally different team then they have in NBA, they are playing a different kind of game where the calls are not close with NBA calls. We shall see how much Chris will learn from this summer experience and will start from there, but right now, I am not getting my hopes high! Great CB4, uhuuu Team US but show me improvement while playing for my Raptors :)
