I'd be the first overall pick. Gonna guide the Cavs to the world championship then leave them on national TV. Got my future planned out

Gurk: "This summer, man this is tough, this summer I'm going to take my talents to the Toronto Raptors."

I can see it now. Gurk, the face of the Raptors.

Don't be surprise if quite a bit of the top freshman in college don't declare. I mean there is a great chance of lockout. Why go pro and sit when you can stay in college and have one more year. A lot of players enjoy playing college BB but leave because well the pay day is great.

Quite a bit of people believe there is a solid chance Jared Sullinger returns to Ohio State.

He seems like a bright dude, who relishes the college experience. But giving up the money that a top 3 pick garners to go back to school and enter a deeper draft could be a costly risk.

Cleveland aint gettin the pick. From watchin draft lotterys in the past, the team with the least amount of wins , hardly wins the lottery.

caught the last quarter of Cavs vs NY

Impressive energy and defense from Cavs. Impressive show from Billups and Amare in the 4th. Shoulda sat Carmelo if his elbow was hurt, he sunk the ship.

Yeah, but disregarding the CBA fiasco which would mean he might not see any of that money next season, there's the fact that Krzyzewski's been quoted saying that he doesn't believe college should be an "extended hotel". He doesn't recruit players that say they will only be there for one year, nor if he thinks they will only be there for one. He was in the running for OJ Mayo until it became clear he'd be a one and done-r.

I think of the top of my head, he's only had one such player- Corey Maggette- and that was 12 years ago.

this is a very distinct possibility...wouldn't surprise me at all when you consider there might be a lockout
i'm actually hoping there is one...this league needs to get it's shit together...and quickly

i'm really not too concerned about an impending lockout making kids not declare.

Going back to school for another year increases the possibility that their stock drops or they get injured as opposed to making 3 million or more for a year of doing nothing

Lockout = No money

Right? So he wouldn't get paid for doing nothing. He would be getting nothing by doing nothing.

Am i the only one here that thinks that drafting Irving (if we were to get him) is going to bail us out? We need a heck of alot more than him.
