Bullshit back at ya. Last season, he was NOT hurt more than the year before. And 10/7 was his best season. So it's a career year for him. Double BS.

He was more injured last year from what I remember and I also remember most of his issues two seasons ago being blamed on personal issues, more so than any injuries.

Casey: Our bench has to give us something

How bout!

RF: Our coach has to give us something

OR!

RF: Our coach has to go/get out w/e words you wanna use on that one

AKA fuck off Casey, you're an idiot and everyone knows it by now. Please shut up and stop talking as if you have any idea what's going on or how to coach. If you want your bench to produce stop running a play that involves all 5 players standing in place doing nothing. Or stop playing you're chuckers for 40 minutes a game when they cant even hit a shot and actually give the damn bench some real minutes. They may actually produce if they actually had a real chance to play the damn game rather than just stand on the court and look "pretty"

Man this guy is such an idiot it drives me nuts.

Been reading everyones posts for years but I am very surprised that all the talk is around Jose, Ed, Kleiza or Barbosa....amnesty trade amnesty or trade. Honestly for a guy who should be a shining light with Andrea out Amir has to be the biggest disapointment of the season. DD is at least trying. I know that Amir is going through some "personal issues" but REB 6.1 AST 1.2 STL 0.7 BLK 0.8 PTS 6.4 is terrible.

Seems like a good guy and likes to play in Toronto...but I'm just saying get trade Jose sure but this guy opens up a lot of options for us next year if he is gone
The mystery of Amir Johnson - why no amnesty talk for his terrible contract?

Quote:
Anyway, the conversation gets around to Amir and his latest struggles and Casey tells us that there are some “personal issues” in play and that Amir has to find a way to block them out when he’s on the court. That’s all he tells us – personal is personal, after all, but it does provide some context for what’s been going on.

And then Amir admits to the assembled lads and lady that, yes, there are some things going on that are weighing on his mind.

“To be honest it’s probably some personal issues but I have to bring that energy no matter what. It’s no real excuse. I just have to pick it up.”

Again, no one presses because, really, it’s none of our business. And whatever they are, hope they get worked out quickly.

Amir Johnson has had consistent heart and soul like no other on this team.

Y'all are losing your minds if you're questioning that.

nobody questions that, doesn't mean he's some great player that we should never move. he's likely not a starter on 20 teams in the nba.

Doug is an absolute douchebag, and that's putting it mildly....but if you notice Amir and casey both admit it.

Nobody said he was a great player, or that we shouldn't move him,or that he was starter caliber for most NBA teams. But that's a long way from the kind of shit being dumped on him. Absolutely he's struggling, deserved to lose his staring job to TH, but to crap all-over a team-first guy having troubles, without exploring why, when we have so many bigger issues, is just transferring frustration on to a target that shouldn't be targetted for the wrong reasons.

he's part of the problem, nowhere near the biggest but he's certainly part of it.

I don't see it that way. If a guy like amir is giving up on the coach or a teammate, i think he's part of the solution and someone should be listening to him. He's not the kind of guy that quits, and if he has it speaks volumes imo.

If Phil Jackson was the coach and the team was winning and he was bitching abou the coach I would think differently, but its obvious to all of us there are problems.
