Default Casey finally mans up and calls out the refs

Quote:
Iím tired of this. Iím tired of losing games because of missed calls at the end of the game. I know the leagueís going to come down on me but I donít care. These guys have fought their hearts out, played their hearts out, and at the end of the game we get cracked, [then and] apology, and we go home back to Canada. Itís happened too many times. Iíve been in this league 18 years and Iíve never seen as many missed calls at the end of the game to cost us the game. We have great officials in this game, we have good officials, and too good to miss calls and short-change these young men like that. Itís not right. Itís not right for these guys to play their hearts out and then come up on a missed call at the end of the game. I wouldnít just say this, I watched it three or four times, hoping that they missed it but they didnít.

About time he called them out. I think it should have been sooner but at least he's doing it now. I really hope he doesn't get fined because he's right. I also hope the NBA starts calling the plays right from now and that this puts pressure on the refs.

Pretty aggrivating...Could count about 7-8 games that have been directly affected by the officiating..

Good on Casey for finally letting it out and not holding back

Not only that, but he did it the right way too. He didn't just explode.

Glad he finally spoke up ... Last night Shaq was also commenting about 'how can they miss that one ... DD got smacked in the head ... easy call to make'

I never seen anything like this ... I think the refs have always been shit, except we have never had so many close games ... it gets exposed during these situations
