Casey coach of the month

NBA ‏@NBA 10m

Coach Jeff Hornacek of the @Suns (10-3) & Coach Dwane Casey of the @Raptors (8-6) named NBA Coaches of the Month for December.

congrats

Bankiz 01-02-2014 04:20 PM

congrats to him, but also to all the organisation.

creative1mm 01-02-2014 04:29 PM

good job, yea.. he is doing well with the group he has.. if you think about it, there are no big contract guys like Bargs and Gay that aren't playing well that DC has to put on the floor because of upper management. Now he's has complete control

Carlos Danger 01-02-2014 04:42 PM

PLEASE don't bring this guy back next year. My biggest fear is that all this winning is going to make him seem like a good coach.

bjjs 01-02-2014 04:47 PM

Well deserved.

RaptorsVictim 01-02-2014 04:47 PM

Oh shit, Sam Micheal scenario again ?

DuCa00795 01-02-2014 04:48 PM

Well, when was the last time we wanted a coach to be fired while we are winning.. because fans always complain about the head coach when the team is doing bad..

this is the best coaching Casey has done since being hired for the role.. players are responding to him, and they are working hard, why in the world would any one break that up

LOG 01-02-2014 04:55 PM

I would want a coach who is a leader in that locker room, someone who is not afraid to bench a star player, if they are not following his game plan.

I had no idea there was such a thing as coach of the month.

Well, for me it was when Sam Mitchell was winning his miracle season. Always despised his coaching. And that turned out great...

lol.. Casey is better then Sammy though.. Sam made some bad mistakes

bjjs 01-02-2014 05:49 PM

I can't recall Mitchell ever making a mistake like Casey's no-timeout against Charlotte.

LKeet6 01-02-2014 06:06 PM

Me too.

Crazy how we only hear about this when a Raptor wins it.

Because I haven't let this 12 game stretch cloud the memory of two seasons full of bone head moves and losses.
