The Raptors are definitely more fun to watch when Stumbles isn't playing.

If Stumbles is a spoke in your wheel then you are in for a bumpy ride. If he's the hub then you are going nowhere.

I'm rooting for us to keep AB forever, just because it creates so much angst on RF. You can't write these kind of stories!!!

It's not about if we will be better immediately with bargs... It's time for a change... He would add value as a 6th man ... Won't happen here
His lack of consistency is actually the only thing that is consistent...
I've been hoping that he could somehow magically get fire in his belly... You are who you are I guess....
Extremely talented, but has no leadership skills and lacks drive to improve... Sad really

Please note that I've been a big Bargs fan over the years.. Time for a divorce

I would trade for a young player... Hopefully a 3 and a first rounder... Next option could be Pau Gasol... I would prefer a first round pick

I too used to think that Bargs helped more than he hurt, but I don't think that any more. My biggest disappointment is that he doesn't seem to have any drive. "Ball goes in - ball doesn't go in - whatever". Fuck that Bargs. If the ball isn't going in then play twice as hard on defense to get a stop to make up for it.

But if Bargs (or any Raptor) is playing well during a game then I'm happy to root for him and hope he continues to play well. What else are you going to do when you root for a sub-par team? Complain non-stop?

OY!

PF's to note

Josh Smith
Blake Griffin
Zach Randolph
Lamarcus Aldridge
Kevin Love
Paul Milsap
Tim Duncan
Amar'e Stoudamire

How many of them are counted on to "spread the floor"

Not our kind of PF- wouldn't work in our system!

whether or not you think Bargs is a good player or not casey is not wrong in saying he is the hub
bargs needs to go just because he is the hub and going through him offensively is clearly not working for the team, i'm not even saying whether or not Bargs is good or not, the style just isn't cutting it on this team, it can probably work on a different team
but him leading with this style of offense should probably end now

if casey didn't want Bargs hanging at the 3pt line, do you think Bargs would just hang out there?

bargs has looked awful tonight. the open offense, or whatever the hell we're running is mud. what happened to the team that tried last year? damned games are getting hard to watch.

we have to run plays for Bargs down low (at least that would get him inside the arc for a few minutes -- i really don't think we'd have such problems with Bargs if sloan or pop were coaching, but they're not and we suck...its going to be great watching okc pick 4th). and what about jv and his pick and roll game? where is that? damn.

I understand now.
This all is part of campaign of appointing next scape goat.

If you make Bargs the "hub" and ride him no matter what, its his fault we are not winning anything. Then trade his ass for scraps and announce a changed team mentality.

Obviously Bargs as the hub isn't working for us. Like someone suggested he would be a great sixth man, if we played him off the bench he could potentially be a great second punch off the bench, but knowing this team it will never happen.

Stretch bigs often come off the bench, whats more, only for certain matchups.

But Bargs is another level. Yes, he can burn some matchups (of which he had more when he played C), but he should be able to attack anybody who guards him. And by that helping other players on the floor (anecdotal example is how Amir used to be more effective with him).

In couple weeks we will learn that he had some nagging injury all along

And then we play tank mode without him

And then trade him for couple 2nd rounders and a veteran

I'd ask you guys to trade us Ed Davis, but he's like your 4th best player right now.

Last two games 2-14 three pointers.
Last eight games 12-39.
Spreading that floor all right.

This will certainly not surprise me. One positive sign is our commentators are allowed to slate AB now. It can be a sign that he's pre-packing the figurines of himself.

I also liked his matchups at 5 better, having opposing C out of their paint.
