Raptors The case for keeping Lowry

RaptorBlog Radio made a case for keeping Lowry:

*Right now, Lowry per 36's are 18/8/6....and yet hes averaging 27 mpg ( lowest mpg in 3 years)

*He is 8th in the NBA in APER. The guys ahead of him are LBJ, KD, Kobe, Melo, CP3, Westbrook and Parker.

*Toronto can't afford to bring their best talent off the bench and they can't afford to risk losing Lowry in the long term.

To give up on this caliber a player after just 30 games is pretty stupid imo.

i agree with the people who say you have to look at what lowry actually does on the court, the decision making is questionable, too often and the D isn't as good as we thought it'd be BUT other than that i totally agree jeff.

he needs to improve but he's a real good player and jose is leaving. And as you keep saying he's only played 30 games, some injured and we haven't seen the best of him yet.

Pretty much, we've given Pylon 8 years and we've gone nowhere. ONE winning season in all that time.

Based on his attitude and body language during games I'd be shocked if that was the case.

If Jose Caldepylon has had 8 years to lead us nowhere, I think we can give lowry more than half a season to prove himself

This is going to be hilarious if Lowry ends up playing well in BOS and Jose leaves our team in the off-season.

Just saying Lowry brings the worms to the surface.

They wouldn't trade Lowry without knowing for sure what Jose's intentions are and acting accordingly.

I still think the chances of Lowry being traded before the deadline are very slim.

*shrug* I won't believe that Jose is staying until I see him sign a new contract. If this goes into the off-season you can bet that he'll want to "see where his market value lies"... and then what happens if some other team offers him more money, more years or both?

I wouldnt stay if I was Jose. He is so much better than his own fans even give him credit for while his peers are leading teams full of stars.

I'd be gone asap

TBH, I'd actually love to see what he could do in BOS (until Rondo's back). Would probably be a nice fit for him.

Don't worry everyone, we can trust that BC will deal KL, won't sell high on Jose and he'll bolt in the summer.
