Default Canadian basketball players

Does anyone know of any good Canadian high school/college players?

I heard Tristan Thompson from Brampton is the 3rd best prospect in the U.S. for 2010 and he's signed with Texas

Andy Rautens (son of Raptors TV analyst Leo Rautens) plays for Syracuse. He's pretty good. scored 17 points yesterday.

I really don't watch college ball, so for all i know he'll never get a taste of the NBA. no idea.

Used to play AAU ball with Tristan, it's weird seeing videos of him on youtube and articles of him on ESPN...

Dean Douglas and Dillon Ennis are another two players I also played with that are playing in the States next year.

I was actually pretty impressed with Andy yesterday. He's got a good flow about him on the court. Not as bad as I thought he was. Great shooting form, but a little too trigger happy at times. What impressed me the most is his court awareness and passing abilities for a guy who isn't a PG. Solid player that Andy Rautins is.

Ah okay. Myck Kabongo is another player who went to the same prep school as Tristan and also committed to Texas. He's listed as a top five point guard prospect in the country if my memory serves me.

Myck Kabongo is ranked #14, #2 PG by ESPN for the 2011 class

Cory Joseph plays at Findlay College Prep is #36, #6 PG for the 2010 class (considering Minnesota, Kansas, Texas, Illinois, Villinova) his brother recently went to Minnesota

Tristan Thompson and Joseph play for Findlay College Prep #2 in the U.S.
Kabongo, St. Benedict's Prep # 6 in the U.S.

Devoe Joseph @ Minnesota I think you mean TO. Playing under Tubby Smith, they said on a broadcast that he has the best chance of being the next Canadian into the NBA.

I remember playing against this guy in high school... I think he went off for 40 points.

devoe is a couple years older than me, but i played against him in hs ball in a couple tournaments. when he was in grade 11 he was pretty good, but he didnt really stand out. but in grade twelve he improved drastically. I'm talking an insane amount. At silver fox, while we were waiting to play our game, he dropped about 47 points on STM, most of which were heavily contested. unreal shooter. im hoping he makes it to the L

The thing about Devoe is that while he's got good game, he's an undersized 2 and while he's athletic, but not overly athletic.

Rob Sacre went gonzaga last year from BC he is a 7'0" 250 center averaging a mere 1.5ppg, and 2rpg.

He dominated in the provincials though in Canada. He averaged 19.9ppg and 14.3rpg in the provincial tourney and 30ppg and 20rpg in high school.

Then there is Bol Kong who is a monster. He received letters from American universities such as Kentucky, Wake Forest, Duke and North Carolina but he couldn't play in America because of passport issues.

Marc Trasolini - Who played for Vancouver College. Now he plays for Santa Clara averaging 6.7ppg, 4.8rpg, and 1.2bpg in his freshman year.

Here's an article on his situation. He has scored 35 on Jamal Crawford when he was in grade 11 and averaged 20+ against NCAA Schools (including Marquette, Arizona, Air Force, Oklahoma... and more) while being guarded real closely. Plus, he led his team to a win over Boise State who was an NCAA team last year. But he is actually much better defensively than offense.
