wow.

so I watched Canada get spanked by Korea during my breakfast this morning. pathetic.

Best news of all: apparently Dalembert got in some sort of altercation earlier and wasn't even on the bench. awesome. Tournament done.

Look for more to come out of this one.

i had watched the whole game and Canada WAS JUST ABLE TO WIN this game by 2 points and they were down by 12 i believe with less than 3 minutes to go... game should have never been this close and the announcer said Sammy D got into an argument... i would like to know what happened with Sammy

holy shit. that's a pretty crazy comeback. But if Dalembert is gone, so will go Canada.

Still, there are questions to be answered. Namely, what happened to Samuel Dalembert? Nonetheless, Canada improbably wins, and will play either Croatia or Puerto Rico on Friday in another must-win game. Barrett ends up with 22 points, while Anderson chips in with 17 points, including the last four points of the game.

Rautins and a player will talk to the media at 10 a.m. Eastern Time. Until then, thanks for reading.

2:45 42-33 Korea. Barrett gets hot, hitting a pair of three pointer, but by now, you know the story. Korea responds with another three-pointer. The announcer clarifies, "We don't know what's happened with Samuel Dalembert. If he's ill..." Now the announcer says according to some unofficial sources, Dalembert is away from the team because he might have had some disagreements. He does not say with who, but one would have to think Rautins, although the two have had a good relationship before this tournament.

49-33 Korea. The story is simple. Korea is 9-for-14 from three-point range. Canada has turned the ball over 13 times. Canada has no interior presence. Samuel Dalembert, apparently, is not in the building. Canada appears to be in disarray, and Leo Rautins' job security has to be at stake.
It seems that Sammy D was upset in the way he was played and i was reading some other site that said he had an argument about Canada's heart, hoping the best and that Sammy comes back for the Quarter Finals.

convinced that Raptors fans are only happy when they're unhappy.

If that's true, then I've lost alot of respect for Dalembert. Your pissy about your already weak team and their lack of heart, so as the team leader you run off in a tantrum and quit on your team because your struggling too.

That was a sick comeback. I actually woke up and saw the score at 72-77 with like a minute left or something on TheScore. I watched the rest and I was pretty amazed. Anderson is one clutch shooter.

Next game against Croatia, good luck guys. My 2 cents: if Dalambert didn't want to play this game, send him to home. The group is always more important than a player.

Canada's done.

I caught most of the first half and Canada actually looked pretty solid. It was close for a while and by the end Croatia was up by 10 or so. By the time i got to work i heard that Croatia had blown it out and were leading by 20+.

From what i saw, Canada looked OK, but they were useless inside. Their forwards were completely out of their league. I hate to say it, but Sammy could have really been usefull in this game and could have given Canada a fighting chance.

Roko played OK. he didn't really score, but he really wasn't looking for his own shot. from what i saw he only attempted one shot (3 pointer) and made it. Otherwise he was distributing the ball well, displaying pretty good court vision.

Maurizio Gherardini was on with the play by play guy for pretty much all of the first half too. It was nice listening to him.
