sorry I'm gonna side with History on this one. LBJ all the way. Please never take for granted what Lebron does on a nightly basis.

I still think Kobe's 9 straight games of 40 plus points was more exciting.

Or even his 4 straight games of 50+.

That shit was just wild.

agreed.

but the funny thing about this stretch for LeBron is...it's not really that far outside what he does on a regular basis.

Like he's averaging 27/8/7 on 56% shooting for the year. If anything I think people are taking his whole year for granted.

What did he do...well, I will explain best I can the way I understand it. Lebron, with help from Bosh and Wade and their little Pact, decided to play the gam the way it supposed to be played.

They decided to have a fg% competition, where they only would take, and make good shots, trying their best to find the best shots, highest percentage so they never miss.

The result has been the most incredible thing I think I personally have seen in Basketball yet. The guy is playing as close to perfect as the NBA has ever really seen.

FG% over 60% for I dunno how many games now, rebounds, assists like mad.

We shouldn't feel bad about our loss to these guys.... he is on another level. Better than MJ ever was.

Except, this is just adjustments he's made, he will keep this up, its frightening. I have always thought NBA stars were under achievers, honestly, Lebron is making me a fan, like a huge fan if he can keep his focus and become this player everyday.

THIS is the maturity I have always wanted to see from Lebron. This is what will really, I think, make him the best there ever was.

LeBron is a once in a generation talent like Michael Jordan. He's a step above everyone else.

I think he's better than Jordan, and I got to see his whole career too.

His size alone is just a massive weapon.

if Lebron can stay healthy and keep adding to his game there isn't a situation in the modern game he won't be able to execute.

he's a bigger Big O, and Big O is quietly said to be the GOAT for some people.

So it appears he's also figuring it out in his head, growing up, becoming a man. Its pretty cool actually. I mean really, deciding (which is funny as Ithink this should have been a given from the start) to try to play as efficiently as possible, has openined up the game to a whole new level for him...its like he's seeing the game like Neo.

I'm gonna start calling Lebron Neo.

Superjudge I agree.

I think as Lebron approaches 35 he'll be the greatest sports experiment we'll able to witness. With every game he just appears to mature more and more to the point that his court awareness, vision, sense of situation, etc is freakishly scary. So as his mental continues to increase, and given time his physical will have to start decreasing at some point, it will be very interesting to see how he continues to balance his game. If done right, and taking care of his body along the way, I do'nt see why Lebron can't keep reinventing himself and play at a very high level into his late 30s and possibly beyond.

MJ and Kobe went through their careers with this I have to kill everybody at all costs mentality and prove themselves in the league. Lebron just plays basketball and plays to the situation.

If you have a 6'8, 250 lbs running towards you as quick as a point guard...you better move out of your way...or man up and foul. He finally realize that he can do this every game, all game and gets high % FG. By the time he's 30 or early 30s...he will develop a post up game as deadly as Tim Duncan's prime! His evolution is just crazy! From fast-pace style of SG when he was skinny...the play making SF when he bulked up...the crafty PF when he gets older...and he will always be a PG with his passing ability and court vision. This dude is indeed a talent!

I'm sorry youngsters, but you all seem to forget the MJ's utter and complete dominance.
You want a nice little "streak", how about;
10 triple doubles in 11 games - 34ppg, 11rb, 11ast on 51% shooting. No one in the new era NBA has come close to a streak like that.
Game before the streak 34 pts, 17 AST
His one miss in the streak 40 pts, 11ast, 7 rbds
To top this all off, part of this was 5 games in 7 nights.

Just ridiculous.
