Exclamation Calderon Will Make Florida Trip But May Not Play

Ugh .... this might be more serious than we originally thought.

"It's a little bit tight right now because the injury was there," Calderon said. "But I've got treatment twice already, and I'll have another one when I arrive in Orlando. I'll shoot around in the morning. It's almost 24 hours, so it could be OK."

Will Solomon started in Calderon's place on Sunday, scoring 15 points and adding 11 assists in a win over Miami at the Air Canada Centre.

Its a pulled hammy. I don't believe its that serious. I'm confident he'll be back soon but just don't want to rush him. He was on the fan and he said he feels fine but he has to wait to see how he does in practise.

If Jose is out tommorrow I wouldn't be too concerned

Will Solomon played a good game as the substitute PG. If he can keep it up, it does not force Jose to rush his healing time. Plus, I think the match up with Orlando's back court is good for Will Solomon, especially Jameer Nelson. i think he can take Jameer and Keyon Dooling.

Will solomon turned the ball over alot yesterday. The fact that he may start the next two games scares me.He was ok yesterday, but he isn't a starter in this league and rightfully so.

Update: Keyon Dooling doesn't play there anymore

Damn...it's only a hammy so it shouldn't be too serious...if caldy misses tomorrow it's probably just precautionary so he should be bak the game after

Is there a chance Calderon could slump a bit coming off from an injury?

Nagging annoying injuries are the worst. However, not all is lost, Solomon looked solid given the task to back him up, still could be a W.
