Calderon needs a change of scenery
As much as i don't like him as a PG most of the time and think he needs to be moved. He deserves better imo, he's been loyal and is a good team player. I hope for his sake and ours that he gets moved and has a chance at winning.

Boy, comments like that must be great for team camaraderie. Jose's checked out mentally and it shows by his uninspired play. Wonder if Jose was a target during the team meeting?

I really hope he is traded, I love the guy but he has been shitting it up of the bench and if we get another back up PG he definitely won't be getting the same amount of minutes Jose was getting.

Yea and the Raptors need a change of scenery with their PG combination. I feel no sympathy for Jose as far as treatment goes. He got paid a lot of money, was given a lot of fame and leeway by Toronto. He was decent but no star so there's was never a problem with the GM trying to trade him if it made the team better. He needs to be dealt at some point because he is somewhat of an asset and clearly,he's bouncing for a contender in the off season.

His best years were with Bosh. Miss having an all-star player, he made alot of player's job more easier. When you don't have that one guy you can ride, you have bunch of supporting cast talent trying to force their games and no execution during crunch time.

As far as Calderon is concerned no matter how well he plays he knows Lowry will get his minutes and lots of minutes...the organization is committed to Lowry with the 1st pick and all. Calderon knows hes done after this year with the Raptors. The entire NBA is aware of it. So don't get to excited that he finishes the year with us only to see him go to where he wants to finish his NBA career. |

I look at guys like Mo Williams, Ray Felton, Jarrett Jack, etc. These guys were at one point considered on Jose's level, in his tier, and still are, but they've been moved around and have learned to adapt to different roles. They've been successful after being moved, I think Jose will be too. His time here is done and it's just unfortunate we haven't been able to move him for both him and the team's benefit. |

Calderon is nothing but class and deserves to go somewhere better than this. He might suck defensively, but on another team they can hide that failing and he will look like a better player since he can be so good on the offensive end.

Yeah he's so class when he insults his teammates and makes bullshit propaganda videos to usurp the starting role from his teammate. It was also class when he blamed his terrible play and disappointing season on a slight hamstring strain.
