.
Belli is much better than Calderon, especially on defence. With Calderon we're playing with 4 players on the court. And his playmaking abilities...So I think Raptors are better off without Calderon, who thinks otherwise is silly

yeah, they featured Calderon last night on the fantasy league start em or sit em. Calderon was a significant discussion. again, they said he's got a groin injury, but then at the end of the show, talked about it as a hip flexor, which makes me doubt the validity.
but there's been some whispers from d. smith and others that he isn't exactly right, and has been injured.

Hirmak I love your posts. I always get a chuckle. I hope all 3 can go tonight.

If Jose and Andrea are still bothered with their injuries they should rest tonight. I am sure our back ups should be able to step up. If our starting 5 are healthy for tonight then they should be well rested because they played limited minutes in the blow out.Jarett Jack and the rest of the bench should be ready to go after getting all those garbage minutes last game. It was a great confidence builder for guys that were struggling like Jack, Wright and Beli.

I hope that this report is not true. Raps would definitely miss Numero Ocho. Jose has been shooting the ball great the past several games. Raps without a healthy Jose would hurt. But I'd rather the staff err on the side of caution and rest him a couple games if needed. I wouldn't want a repeat of last season where he is not 100% for the whole season.

The fan says Jose has a hip injury

Banks is activated

Good news ... JJ won't play the 2guard positon

bad news ... JJ will play the guard position with banks

And I love your objective posts about Calderon. Of course an injury is a bad thing for players, but they'll earn their millions so or so...For me Belli and Jack are better than any combinations with Calderon(Caldi + Jack, Caldi+ Belli....) And I want to see Rasho and Bosh together, because Rasho is the best Center in this team.We have enough shooters, offense will never be a problem for this team even without Caldi and Bargs.

If Caldy is in deed out tonight we should be ok. Having our back up Jack and Marcus there is strong enough to beat Minnie. Looking forward to seeing Banks get some burn. Great to get him in after sitting so much.

man belli sucks, why do the kids on this forum love this guy so much I dont get it. Delfino>Belli>Kapono. Sat what you will about Calderon in the point but the guy is amazing so long as he doesn't play extended minutes. Calderon is the perfect off the bench PG and a solid SG provided his opponent is not an offensive monster (wade, bryant)

Please. He didn't get a shot until the 3rd quarter at all and when Banks was on the floor usually. The bench overall stunk tonight, in fact the team as a whole shot 32%. Bad game, but Beli is one of our best players off the bench and one of, if not the best passer on this team.

Simply put, Banks killed any flow the bench and Beli usually gets with Jack and at times Jose.

Beli needed to be more aggressive. When all he does is chuck, then he doesn't help this team. If he's making plays off the dribble he helps tremendously.

Ugh. How old are you? Is your eye sight affected by your age?

Belli's per 36 minute stats:

16.2 ppg, 3.0 apg, 2.9 rpg, .441 fg% , .422 3fg% , 1.2 stl

I know. It's funny that on a night when nobody can hit a damn shot, the guy that barely touched the ball gets that shit, when in all likelyhood he's our best passer, and % wise our best shooter off the bench and one of our best shooters overall.

The only problem i have is that he needs to get more involved early, when that happens he gets his 12-15 points and this team really takes off. He moves alot without the ball, and creates for others. He's the best backup SG we've had in years and could be a starter.

Yeah. Right. Because we all know there are loads of 8th men floating around in the league who shoot and distribute the ball as well as Belli. :sarcasm:
