haha... yeah, you're right... I've probably undersold him often, but I've also given him some high praise before too. I'm not anti-Ed. Jose's really helped him this season but he's beginning to show more this season than he's shown the last two. I don't see it as a Ed versus AB thing here as most do, I think a JV-Ed-Amir-AB frontcourt going forward can be a very good thing here.

Monroe is a beast, but as JV gets bigger, and Ed too, I think our frontcourt is four deep in a bigtime way. I'm now of the belief that both Ed and Amir can both play big roles here too.

Just need something bigger at the three, even with how AA is rolling right now.

Make it end. Make it all go away. I am enjoying watching Raptors games again.
Exactly my sentiment. I'm looking forward to next game now.

Guys guys guys, There's no need to discredit Bargnani strengths for everyhting he sucks at which is all facets of the game shooting, riving, scoring passing and no D. Except for the one thing he is good at, watching the other team getting rebounds.

How exactly is he any better than Ed Davis or Amir Johnson

Andrea is the sole reason why we lost so many games this season.

You're right. Also, the mayans said that the end of the world tomorrow is because of Bargs.

Sole?? Come on, even i have to say there was a lot more at work than Bargnani's shitty play. Schedule, injuries, a lot of new players, coach trying to change our philosophy, Coach's decisions on rotations, 2 PG lineup....etc....etc

I have never seen a player so "protected" by a group of fans as Bargnani is.

Shit, even the Hedo lovers a few years ago eventually admitted that he was playing like crap and wasn't worth his contract.

Bargs should run for office. Maybe cut his teeth under BC so he can really learn what it is to be "made of teflon". lol.

Bargnani was a number one overall pick who has gone bust. People still haven't come to grips with that reality, hoping he'll come around to that star potential that isn't there. He's in his 7th NBA season, he's not likely going to get much better than what he has shown for most of his career to this point.

Just like Kwame after his first few years. Except Kwame, Washington & LA were willing to part with him sooner rather than later. The guy is just a bust, not even a decent NBA player in the league, well below average provides mostly negative value to the team. We won't move on until the GM, fans & coaches are willing to accept that fact and ship him out for whatever return we can get.

Up till the last few years he was. Maybe outside a few posters here and there. Just no one has offered anything of substance other than negative value. He was almost traded to LA last season. Next to that almost everyone had established this year he was a good backup calibre type now.

Bargnani, it's always the fault of other teammates. Now that they're winning games, it's Lowry's fault even though the guy has been the most efficient player on the Raptors.

Unlike Bargs, Jose has actually played well for long stretches and is actually very good at what he does (protecting the ball, getting others involved, shooting efficiently).

Guy is always among the league leaders in assts and asst/TO ratio.

Bargs is always among the league leaders when it comes to inefficient chucking and poor rebounding and defending.

Not the same thing.

I think his teammates were as frustrated with Bargs as we was (and are). How hard is it to see him giving a shit for 4 quarters and than bring top notch defense in the last 3 min. Me for myself would give him a huge hug (for the last effort) and than a big slap (for his disappearing before).
Tecnically, if he gives only 50 % effort, Bargs would be a huge asset for this team, its his lack of motivation that kills his play and slowly poisons the teams play.
When he is off on offense he should bust his ass of on defense to counter his weak night, but the opposite is happening all the time.

Its not a problem of talent (he has a ton),
its not a problem of being able to lay down that potential (he has done it before, even in some consistence way)

its all a problem of motivation:
btw. he has gone back to his former self (not giving a shit) since he parted ways with his fiance, and before he had his biggest jump as he made up this relationsship. Seems as his heartproblems are stronger than the multi-M$ he is making.

That was his fiance? I thought Nabilla was just his girlfriend. Nevertheless, I pointed this out a couple times already earlier this season about his psychological issues having to do with the breakup
