So they are pretty much saying, that if we are not tanking we will have problems all season long?
While I'm strong tank supporter, this seems a bit strange to me..

Sooo we should trade Gay to have a better season. I wonder what these guys where saying about Bargs last year. Probably something around the lines of Bargs needs more minutes to possibly become an all star.. Yea lets trade our best player but for who exactly..?

they're suggesting to trade him not to be better this year, but to further develop the future of this team, specifically JV. I think they've got the wrong wing player though.

he played 37mpg so yeah, makes absolutely no sense. So for 11mpg we were at our best?

I'm saying something in the vicinity of the opposite actually. I think we should keep Rudy. His game is much more of a fit with JV's.

I don't get it either it was a noticeable difference when gay was in the lineup our defense seemed to improve and derozan got easier looks

I don't know what the stats say but I watch almost every game and came away impressed by Rudy gay overall play

The stats agree with all of you - we were much, much better with Gay on the court than without. Just in the stretch of games after the Rudy trade, the Raps were 107.2-104.1 ORTG-DRTG with Rudy, and 106.4-111.1 without him. That's a 8.8 point swing per 100 possessions.
