Bulls Like Bosh Over Stoudemire

Quote:
If the Bulls make a move for a big man this summer, they reportedly rate Chris Bosh over Amare Stoudemire.

Rumor around the league is that Chicago prefers Bosh's personality, and believes that he is a better teammate than Stoudemire.

At this point in the season, it appears more likely that the Raptors will shop Bosh, but changes could be coming for the Suns as well.

Being that their games are almost the same it makes sense that you'd choose the model citizen over the headcase.

If they didn't want to give up guys like Deng and draft picks for Kobe, chances are, they're not gonna pry Bosh away from us. They'd be more successful in dealing for Stoudemire.

That being said, that was when they still had Noccioni's contract and didnt have Salmons.

What makes anyone think Paxson is going to pull the trigger? He's trade shy. Ain't gonna happen. It's not going to work out well. He's not going to want to give up much and Colangelo is going to be asking for a lot.
That's why Stoudemire would be easier for them to get - because they wouldn't have to give up as much, and the Suns will be eager to seal Stat.

Define headcase? Since when is Stoudemire a headcase?

but you gotta remember that Deng was on the verge of being a breakout star that summer, and the bulls organization was priming him to be their next star. he had an amazing year (previous) putting up 19/7/3 while shooting 51% - and only 21 years old, with a BRIGHT future. couple that with a number top 2 draft pick, and its easy to see why they were shy about trading that away.

this time around its a different story.
they definitely have learned from their past mistakes.

Pax is stingy. Notoriously stingy. In addition to the Kobe and Garnett rumours, Last year he didn't want to give up a package for Gasol. With Bosh only having 1 more year remaining on his deal, Pax is definitely not going to want to give up much.

Like I said before, they'd probably be better off dealing with Phoenix. Phoenix is eager to sell.

yeah i'm thinking they will lean towards Phoenix as well.
but they want a guy who will be able to share the spotlight - a guy like Bosh.
Amare doesnt have that same selfless characteristic.

Paxon may be stingy, but he definitely wont settle. if he has his eye on CB, im guessing he does everything in his power to grab him.
Rose is a budding superstar... he knows that he will need a bigman to play along with him in order to break into the top tier.
everyone else on that roster is expendible and Paxon knows this.

No way bc gives up Bosh for anything less than Rose. And even straight up for Rose, I'm not sure if I pull that trigger.

Lol... he wants to be "the man". He was pissed when Shaq came in and started taking away from his touches. He also HATED playing D under Terry Porter's system.

I like Bosh's game more than Amare anyway but if it just came down to personality I'd go with Bosh 10/10 times. Just seems like a much more grounded person.
