Where is that picture that shows all of colangelo's failures when you need it?

I respect Bryan's work though. He exceeded expectations in the first year, but set a high standard. He never managed to reach that standard, but at least he tried. The current state of the franchise is OK. We have a respectable starting 5, with good prospects.

I like his character, but I think it is a good time to make a change. Colangelo had a great vision, but his winning record doesn't show.

Best of luck, Bryan.

He did well to start out but then he never returned the team to that level. Then he fell in love with his own picks and with players who only play well on side of the ball or who did not fit the team's needs. He let his pride get in the way a lot. I think the most underrated thing he did was the Amir trade and then the extension. Anywho, time for a change.

I've liked his picks, trades but his Fa signings is what killed him. Even though being a GM here has it's problems in That department.

this sums up how I feel towards BC

he would draft well ala davis or derozan, trade well ala lowry or gay, but shoort himself in the foot with a kapono or hedo. if his FA signings were half as good as his drafting or trading, we would have gotten to 50 wins by now

it doesn't help when you add contracts/signings like the ones he did. jk + hedo were brutal. jk - a 3 pt shooter who also... yup- adding to the team's strength (3ptshooting) while not address d + rebounding.
hedo - yup, add a point forward to play with the traditional pg you just signed the year b4. also, yup add a defensive detriment to the starting 5 with no true player who plays good to great defence.

He had his moments in middle of the season but IMO his minutes and role was all over the place. Drummond could have been been had by many but he'll have his issues IMO.

Met him a few times and he was always a gentleman. I dont disagree with the demotion, I just wish it turned out better for him. Like guys have said, he certainly was trying. But the list of free-agents (O'Neil, Turk, Kapono, etc) is too overwhelming to overlook.

Time to give someone else a kick at the can.
