Oh yeah that too. Why he gave up that 2nd rounder for Telfair I'll honestly never know.

We definitely should have gone after Maynor instead.

The draft is weak, so that second rounder will likely be a non-factor. At the time, we were on the verge of a playoff run. It would make sense to add point guard insurance, as we only had 2 PGs on the roster: Lowry and Lucas.

The bigger issue, is why be turned the 1st rounder into James Johnson, only to dump him 2 years later. Bad bad asset management after is his emphasis on asset management when Bosh left. Where was all the " cap-room" he stuck in the faces of the fans? What did we get from the TPE from Bosh?

can you name me significant moves made, ever, with the use of a TPE, in NBA history?

as well, when a player smokes pot on the team plane hes lucky he wasnt sued for damages. any GM would have done the same with Johnson. he used the cap room unwisely as we said with the LF signing, but even that is still yet to be known whether it was upper corporate pushing BC for nash so made him make that move or if it was BC himself. BC isnt a good FA signing person. weve agreed on that. however his trading record, and drafting record speaks for itself. and dont bring up Bargnani because back in the day it was 50/50 between him and LA and with Bosh already on the team which made more sense, a 7 footer who had the potential to be dirk, or a 6-10 player with the potential to be bosh?

That was only the rumour at the time, but if it was a fact, the league would have been all over it, so it remains a rumour. Please don't say " we've agreed", when it is only a statement that you have made. I don't recall a chorus of agreement.

Well if true, most players that have been traded or signed elsewhere should get one either.

It goes in order of
Drafting ability
Trading ability
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Free agent ability
.
.
There is a big difference between his ability of the 2 compared to FA signings... anyone who says his strength was FA signing needs to leave with him

Not trying to say that FA was a BC strength. Just another one of his many weak points.

I am not arguing for arguments sake. I have issue with how you state an opinion and then proceed to cite your previously stated opinion as if it was accepted fact. The fact that something is your opinion, is something that everyone should be allowed. But it doesn't make it factual.

Since most of your opinions are erroneous, it leaves your points on shaky ground.

it had been repeated multiple times by multipple posters on this thread that FA was BCs weakness. I was just referring back to those statements. if my opinions are erroneous, then your reading comprehension skills are abysmal. at best

Indeed. I hope we never read or hear about Colangelo again going forward. He should be put in the same light as Babcock.

He shouldnt even be a part of this organization moving forward, but since he is, hopefully it's in a manner where he doesn't even come close to stepping foot near basketball operations. Whoever takes control of basketball ops for us should have all of his calls screened and security around his office to ensure Babcockangelo doesn't try to poison his mind.

So if your opinions were less erroneous, my reading comprehension skills would be improved?
