BTW,by the way,if you fire Colangelo Embry,Geraldini,Stefanski are all likely gone.

I'll help you out, maybe TO can throw Landry Fields money at Larry Bird. Add on

If we get a new GM you can say goodbye to Bargnani, which is probably a good thing.

Who knows. But likely a lateral move imo.

That's my only curiosity about having a new GM, who would he keep?

My guess: Lowry, Valanciunas, Ross, Davis, Anderson, maybe Derozan.

I can see Bargs, Amir, Calderon, Lucas, Kleiza all being dealt and probably Gray as well.

Anybody seen him since the season started? I've seen Embry, lots of Stefanski, not a lot of the golden boy.

He was seen several times at our home opener and was outside the lockeroom congratulating the team after our first win vs Minnesota. And they also showed him at the Brooklyn game.

I'm not against letting BC go, he's clearly not the best fit for a rebuilding franchise.
But I'm absolutely in disagreement that he was a bad GM here. He made some mistakes and did some really good things. Yeah, we went to the playoffs two times only, but how many times did we get there in the 15 years before Colangelo? And unlike the Colangelo era, we really sucked back then, so we had great lottery picks.

Toronto is a tough market because we're not very desirable and the fans/media are very impatient. If Toronto sucked as badly as Minesotta or OKC did for 3-4 years, there'd be riots - a majority of fans didn't even want to tank last season where there was such a clear #1 prize worth gunning for. Instead, we did the honorable thing, got unlucky with the GS draw, got unlucky with the draft lottery and got unlucky in the draft where nobody screwed up ahead of us and the one player rated in the top 8 that fell to us was redundant with our last lottery pick.

The correct strategy now is to trade everbody except demar, JV and Ross and keep acquiring assets and stay away from any FA signings that could improve the number of games won. Finish bottom 3 for 2-3 seasons and you are guaranteed 3 outstanding talents to add to Demar/Ross/JV. That's a chamionship calibre core that could bring a decade of 50+ seasons here.

Or, continue to "build" this team who is clearly limited to the upside. I'm all for the previous solution, but I wonder how many fans feel the same way.

You would trade Lowry?

I'd trade DD before Lowry at this point.
