Unhappy BrotherSteve's Blog: Banks Told to Stay Away

Ugh ... with the start of the new season just over a week away I hope Banks stays far ....... far away from his teammates.

Marcus Banks wasn’t at the ACC on Sunday and his permitted return date was unknown. Banks has been kept way for the most mundane of reasons, but a reason that is striking fear into coaches and GMs across the league, H1N1 or Swine Flu is here.

It looks like the H1N1 virus may not have actually afflicted this Raptor but flu season is taking on new meaning during this preseason. Since almost no one has been previously exposed to this flu variant, the risks of infection are high and no team can afford to see a significant portion of their roster missing games all at the same time.

When I read the title, I though he was banned from the team because of bad attitude.
I prefer this hehe. He better not approach the team though.

Who gave Marcus Banks his contract, and more importantly why?
I know it wasn't Conlangelo, but Toronto has had it's share of bad contracts (Arujo, Yogi Stewart...)

I think Phoenix gave him an extension because he was the only average PG behind Nash and Barbosa.
