Bring our veteran PG from overseas?

BC has been very quite about who he's looking at to fill our final roster spot, it seems like he has either no clue, or is waiting on something...possibly the Olympic qualifiers?

I know Greece (check out draft express) has a few nice PG's, what are the odds that BC, and Mauricio bring in that veteran from overseas? It worked for Parker, and Garbo (pre injury) Jose needed some time to develop, but maybe we should go after a late twenty-early thirdy year-old PG...If not what are our options, John Lucas (looked average at best yesterday in a game where Joey G dominated). Coincidently we just hired a Canadian assistant coach who was coaching for Aris a Greek team...

With Roger Mason JR signed, who else is really available free agent wise?

John Lucas would be fine if you ask me.

we don't have the money to get a player from europe. it'll be either a player for the vet.min, or a player from the free agent camps/summer league.

like said about, it'll probably be john lucas.

btw

where are andre barrett and omar cook?

From what i've heard,BC is waiting to see who doesn't get signed by the end of the month and see if he can sign someone cheap who's stock has possibly droped. If not than Carroll/Lucas or an overseas vet could be their only options.

I wouldn't be surprised if he waits right up until training camp to sign the 3rd point guard... by then... you will see ALL the veteran PG's who are still available... and probably take the min to stay in the nba...

The odds are slim to none. The Raptors can't afford to pay them as much as they're currently making or could be making there.

I think Lucas would be just fine.

And its very unlikely that its because BC doesn't have a clue what he's doing. Don't forget it's been 13 days since the offseason started. We still got plenty of time.
