Default Bring back Luke

So Luke Jackson just won the DLeague Player of the Week Award. O_o
So I was thinking, lets bring him back, he is our solution at the 3 spot

Quote:
Luke Jackson of the Idaho Stampede has been named NBA D-League Performer of the Week for games played during the week of Jan. 20, 2009. Jackson is the first Idaho player to earn the honor this season.

Jackson led the Stampede to a 2-1 record last week averaging 24.3 points, 6.7 assists and 5.0 rebounds. He scored a season-high 27 points in a win over the Fort Wayne Mad Ants on Saturday at Qwest Arena in Boise.

A 6-7 forward, Jackson is averaging 16.5 points in his third season with the Stampede.

Didn't Pape Sow average 20 and 10 in the D-League?

luke's right where he belongs. i wish him good luck, but we sure don't need another weak perimiter defender with an inconsistent j.

Yeah, Pape was a monster.

I remember a game a few years back against Phoenix - the guy had something like 15 boards. He's raw in every sense of the word.

Luke is just... yeah. I'd rather have JK, Graham, Moon than Luke Jackson.

Luke is not bad for what he is. I'm suprised other teams haven't picked him up yet. But yeah - i'd pass on him with the raps in mind. Definately not the player we need.

I liked his game when he played with the Raptors...

I give him props for sticking around and playing in the D. He should give Europe a shot and try to make a bit of coin..

If jackson was a center, we could use him until humps is back (esp if JO gets traded).

however we dont need another value village wing.

The one thing he does that's better than moon is get to the rim a bit. He was fearless when it came to his offence. He couldn't guard Hoffa on a good day so it doesn't buy us anything, but yeah i liked Luke when he was here..and in Miami he played decently last year.

Damn ... I thought this thread is about Stars War, only Luke will bring the equilibrium to the Force.

Don't we have enough scrubs at SF, why would we need another one?

His nickname among Heat fans was Turdchucker and he became the posterboy of their tank, before getting cut from quite possibly the worst team ever assembled. Yeah he played decent.

It's not that a D-League player can't be good, it's just that this team is in dire need of an upgrade to proven commodities before we start worrying about taking a chance on a D-League player of the week.

That is way too funny. I remember him dropping 30 on the Sixers on the last game in the 06-07 season

guy wins player of the week in the minor league and u start talking about picking him up?!
all he did was have better stats for than most players in that league for probably like 3 games and that deserves a signing???
sometimes i can get a good laugh on this forum
