Yeah that list sucks. I really hope Evans falls or maybe we could even pick up Earl Clark.

I know. BTW Jerebko plays in Italy. The strange part is that he's at #3 on this list and they say he's early-mid 2nd round pick?? Yet we don't have a 2nd rounder? Stupid.

Just like, i've never heard of Claver out of Spain?

Claver could be an interesting adition in the second round if he stays in the draft. He is athletic, smart, decent shooter, very long arms, at 6'9 he can handle the ball. He may play for the national team this year.

you look at the good prospects from Spain they all seem to do well in the NBA

we should try to trade our second round pick for next year and draft Claver this year and take him, he seems like a really good 3 that could cause match up problems, has athleticism, can shoot, and is big

plus we don't have to bring him over right away, just let him develop bring him over in a couple of years

I wouldn't be surprised if San Antonio, Portland, and Minnesota select him,

Gheridini should be doin work in Europe otherwise what was the point of bringing this guy over unless he is just here because of bargnani

Portland will probably take him. They've got 4 or 5 second round picks.

WOW! Albeit the stupid music in the video, Victor Claver looks great. I can see he's as talented as Rudy Fernandez. Fundemental, athlethics, IQ... He's got all.

Austin Daye is probably if not the most, then the second most talented player in this draft class
Hmm... suspicious.
Sounds as if he was paid to bring up Austin Daye's stock.

Claver looked good?

Heh.

It's all nice and dandy to throw down a dunk on a 6'5" euro kid, quite another to be effective against the NBA's best.

Unless that kid was 16, I'm not thinking he's a guy you look at if you're in Toronto's position.

Doesn't it seem odd that the one guy that was supposed to be on the radar for the Raptors cancelled his workout and didn't reschedule? (Blair). I think he's off our radar. Out of all the guys that have had/and are scheduled to still workouts with the Raptors, the only guy being worthy of being taken in the lotto and at #9 is DeRozan. I think he's the pick.

I just read there's a good possibility that the Thunder are very interested in DeRozan.

I heard they were more enamoured with Harden than DeRozan. I can't see them taking DeRozan at 3. They'll probably select for someone else at #3 and swap picks with another team for DeRozan with a lil' something something going OKC's way.

Depends on what he means by talent. In terms of athletic ability, he's as gifted as anyone - think Tayshaun Prince on the juice. If he's talking about skill, well...maybe not.

I see him listed at 6'9", 235lbs. He was one of the best in the NCAA this year.

Quote:
Andrew Tyler Hansbrough (born November 3, 1985 in Columbia, Missouri) is an American basketball player who completed an enormously successful college career with the North Carolina Tar Heels men's basketball team in 2009. Hansbrough was a unanimous selection for the 2006, 2007, and 2008 Atlantic Coast Conference All Conference Team[1], 2006 ACC Freshman of the Year, and 2008 ACC Conference Player of the Year. In 2008, Hansbrough swept all major individual honors in men's college basketball. For a North Carolina men's player to have his jersey retired, he must win at least one of six national player of the year awards: the Associated Press, the U.S. Basketball Writers Association, the National Association of Basketball Coaches, Sporting News, the Naismith Award and the Wooden Award, and wait until his class has graduated. Since Hansbrough won all six,[2] and returned for his senior season, he will have his number 50 retired when he graduates from North Carolina in 2009. Hansbrough is the son of Tami Wheat and Dr. Gene Hansbrough and brother of former Mississippi State University and future Notre Dame player Ben Hansbrough.
Quote:
On December 18, 2008, in a home game in Chapel Hill against the University of Evansville, Hansbrough broke North Carolina's all-time career scoring record, surpassing Phil Ford's total of 2,290 points. That is just the second time in 52 years the UNC record has been broken.
Quote:
Hansbrough grabbed his 1,000th career rebound on December 28 versus Rutgers and is one of seven Carolina players to record 1,000 rebounds in a career.
Quote:
Finished tied for second behind Oklahoma's Blake Griffin for the 2009 AP Player of the Year Award.
Wikipedia

I've watched a bunch of his games and he puts me in mind of Jorge Garbajosa. He's a guy who will stick in the league and be a really nice role player. He would be a great pick with a later pick if they get one.
