And he's the only PG that gets us something other than a bag of feces.

Therein lies our fundamental difference. I'm all in for this season and our current starting lineup. As attractive as Lowry's contract is to trade...I want to see this starting 5 through for the whole season. I'm optimistic they'll do well together.

I'm gunning for us to make some noise THIS SEASON. And thus I'd like a 3rd center vs a 4th PG or PF because it will benefit the team's overall performance.

If for whatever reason by February the Raptors are absolutely horrible and have no shot at the playoffs...sure trade Lowry. But why do you care to have a 3rd PG after Lowry's gone? Kind of defeats the purpose of tanking to have insurance at the PG spot after you stop caring about the current season.

Are you ok if klow leaves next offseason and we get no value for him?

And even if the 8th seed does happen, the first seed will mop the floor with us.

But I'd rather see a season of quality basketball with actual effort than a waste of time for a total long shot at Wiggins.

No good player wants to play at a loosing team, winning culture, let's go!

I'll take 40 wins and getting ousted in 4-5 games in the first round.

It depends, if we just ship him for anything in return we also need to hope the other team will be ok getting a rental for the rest of the season.
His contract isn't hefty so it's not a huge incentive for a team to take him knowing he is off the books. I think based on his performance, contract and age he has some value, how much? It's hard to say.

If we're going to shop Lowry around the deadline I hope that we can put something together with Boston for Rondo.

I'd gladly give up DD, Lowry and our pick for him and filler.

I'd be very hesitant to include the pick.
