Boston shows interest in Parker?

now this doesn't really mean that much. but, the celtics are showing interest in AP.

Quote:
So, what are the Celtics going to do? Well, Boston has its eyes on free agency. The Celtics are willing to use the midlevel exception (expected to be $5.6 million-$5.8 million) for the right player. Expect the Celtics’ top priority in free agency to be landing one or possibly two big men, not including the re-signing of restricted free agent forward Glen Davis.

An NBA source said the Celtics will keep an eye on such free agents as Detroit forward-center Rasheed Wallace, Phoenix forward Grant Hill, and Toronto swingman Anthony Parker. Denver center Chris Andersen (likely to re-sign), Detroit forward Antonio McDyess (likely to re-sign), Denver forward Linas Kleiza, Detroit forward Francisco Oberto (expected to be bought out), and Milwaukee forward Bruce Bowen (expected to be bought out) are also considerations.

“We will try to improve,’’ Rivers said. “That’s what we should do. We are going to keep trying to make our team better without reshuffling the deck.’’
BOSTON GLOBE
could ap's Raptors days be over. i dought it because he has said he would like to retire in toronto. but, if Boston or another team gives him a better offer than us. he might just have to take it. But, i think we have bird rights on him. although, there is the possibility of an S & T. But, i most likely believe parker will play for toronto next season and until he retires.

It seems to me like he's the guy they'll give an offer to if the other options don't work out. Keeping in mind he's already been negotiating in Europe for bigger cheese.

true. but, he doesn't seem like that kind of guy to me. he seems more like a steve nash kind of guy who says i like the money. but, i'd rather be happy with a decent amount of money then unhappy with a lot of money.

That trade would be so bad. We should trade Jawai (a young and upcoming superstar) for Peirce, KG and Allen. These guys are old and broke down. Jawai and his massive potential should net us all three
