Here's a little tid bit from the ESPN insider. It had two names. "Bosh's Summer" and "How the Bulls get Bosh".
With the trade deadline now almost 24 hours away, here's something to keep an eye on.
It's long been known that Dwyane Wade is likely to stay in Miami and try and recruit a big-name free agent, because the Heat have money to retain Wade and sign one.
Over the weekend, we noted that Wade was courting Chris Bosh at All-Star Weekend to come and play in Miami next season.
But what if the Heat pull off a trade for Amare Stoudemire before the deadline as they're currently in the mix? You'd have to think Bosh would have less interest in playing in Miami because Stoudemire and him fill a similar role.
If that's the case, Chicago could become the leader for Bosh this summer.
And there's this too: if the Knicks end up swinging this trade for Tracy McGrady, he plays well enough and they decide to re-sign him (they are rumbling he may be more than just a rental this season), Bosh may also have reservations about heading to the Big Apple, as there might be a little power play about who's The Man on that team.
The Cavs are still in the lead for Stoudemire right now, and there's no guarantee the Knicks are going to land T-Mac, let alone re-sign him.
But if it plays out like this hypothetical, one would think the Bulls might have the best chance at wooing Bosh this summer.
No mention of Toronto. An honest mistake I'm sure...
