Default Bosh & Wade Together As Raptors?

How sweet would that be? Oh the possibilities 2 years from now.

The reflex, of course, is to remember that Damon Stoudamire, Tracy McGrady and Vince Carter all eventually barged their way back to the States and assume Bosh wants to do the same.

What I will concede is that the corresponding free agencies of James and Dwyane Wade could muddle things because it's not hard to imagine James and Bosh imagining out loud what it would be like to hook up full time -- or Wade and Bosh, who share agent Henry Thomas -- after their gold-medal success at the Olympics in Beijing.

"All these players want to play with each other in the NBA," said one source close to the Team USA scene.

I dont think its a dream, I think that when those players are free in 2010, its going to be shocking what will happen. Bosh is becoming a superstar (ya i said it) and other teams/players are starting to realize this. Imagine, Lebron (as crazy as it sounds) might find toronto a palce where he will actually win a championship. I think with him, Its not about the money its all about the Championship. Hes has enough cash with endoursement,s He wasnts that ring and braging rights, If he Bosh and Calderon along with BC are in toronto, I see a champoinship comming to canada. Same applies with wade. BC also openly said that secruing Bosh in 2010, will be the teams first priority, and if they work something out $$$$ wise i can definealty see us signing another superstart out of the 2010 free agency. I think that by then BC will make the right moves and we will at the least, be a top 3 team in the east (I say even better)

I wish it happens. Our first priority is to sign Bosh then we'll see if Wade wants to come here. if he does our team will be amazing

LeBron's endorsers want him to go to a big city. Why doesn't he play for the Raptors, they are Canada's team after all and there are 35 million people in Canada, compared to 18 million in NYC.

We wont know who's going where, there is still two years left.

Again, that lame Canadian arguement, give it up, Canada is a country, not a city, not everyone in Canada is a Raptors fan. Hell i know tons of ppl out west that are Lakers fans, Portland fans etc etc. Toronto ISNT a bigger market then the major american markets in terms of anything.

You are right, but bringing LeBron to Canada will create more Raptors fans in Canada. But its just a pipe dream right now.

Of course we all hope/dream this will happen, nothing is impossible, i just find it improbable. We have enough trouble keeping budding and 2nd tier stars here as is

Is difficult to be a Raptors fan these days ... a while ago everybody was speculating about CB4 leaving TDot, now they push the story to other extremity, CB4 + Wade for Championship at TDot. For God sakes, think of those with a weak heart

Just something to keep in mind, boys: it could very well be that none of them exercises the player option that summer.

See, the max salary is a product of cap, which in turn is a product of the league's revenue (or projected revenue). With the recession looming large, luxury items like tickets, jerseys and even corporate boxes are going to become harder sells. As a result, two years from now our super-stars could easily find it economically stupid to opt-out of their current contracts simply because their new deals would have to start at a lower salary than their current ones would be providing for.

If that should turn out to be the case, the whole "shopping spree" will get postponed until the summer of 2011. On top of that, the current CBA is set to expire that summer, unless the league chooses to extend it for another season. In other words, between now and then, the defining conditions around this issue are sure to change so much as to render any speculations at this time nonsensical.

Just imagine our starting line-up with Wade and CB.

PG-Jose
SG-Wade
SF-Unknown
PF-Bosh
C-Bargnani

We might get other players through drafts. We might let players go so I don't know about SF

Excellent points made here.

Wasn't it just recently that Stern mentioned that the NBA, much like the rest of the world, will be facing economic hardships shortly and some franchises will find it difficult to survive?

I see a lot of posts about Wade+Bosh or Bosh+Lebron. What about Bosh+Carmelo?
