If you think about it, the raps saved a lot of $$$ due to Bargs' rebounding deficiencies.

Thats your opinion. In terms of overall game, both ends of the floor, Bosh was superior against Dallas last year.

I'd take him if I knew JV was the real deal, I'd then turn Bargnani into someone really good at the 1,2 or three..... emphasis on the latter two.

That's why he had the most points and boards last night - just a role player.

First off - LeBron had the same numbers. Secondly, how often does that happen? Thirdly - do you watch Heat games often? Notice how they use Bosh and tell me it's any different from the way he'b been used @ the Olympics. Cause to me, that looks like a role player on those teams.

Mike, all players are role players. The context you use the term is insinuating that he is a "lessor" player. He isn't. If he were used as a first option he'd be pulling much larger numbers. if they used him more they would experience better overall balance and better percentages.

They arent allowed, Lebron and Wade won't have it.

You could poll 30 GMs and Torrap and ask them if Bosh is as good as Lebron or Wade and you'd have 30 responses stating that he isn't. That's the truth. Doesn't mean Bosh isn't a really good player either but he's not at their level.

meh...it's not big enough of a gap for me, calling Chris Bosh a role player, and placing "role player" stigma on its meaning is ridiculous. Poll 30 owners and ask them about that.

I agree he's not a role player... but there is a reason Lebron and Wade have been mentioned in the MVP race every year and he hasn't. It's a poll that actually does get polled!

SJ, I am using on those teams bolded for a reason. On the Raps, Bosh was anointed a franchise player because he was the most talented guy on the roster, by far. But on the US National team or in Miami, there are players that are clearly better than him and there are enough of them to limit his touches on offence to the point where he becomes a role player. This has nothing to do with him being a bad player - it's just that my definition is not absolute, but a relative one.

I do believe that you've seen my point by now, and if you don't agree - so be it.
