Bosh a starter for USA Team.

USA basketball just named starters.

C.Bosh
D.Howard
D.Williams
C. Paul
M. Redd

Update:These were some players showed as roster players not necessarily the starters.I doubt Bosh is starting!Sorry for jumping the gun!

convinced that Raptors fans are only happy when they're unhappy.

Well that starting 5 would have 2 point guards, which should've been a red flag for you. Also, it's been reported that Kidd is the starting pg.

I would bet Kidd, Wade, Melo, Bron, Dwight will start.

In related news...this team is smaaaaaalllll

it's small, but with Howard and lebron, that's 35 rebounds per game ... I think Lebron in 2008 is very different than lebron in 2006. They might be small in terms of pure height, but when strength and jump is taken into account, I don't see them having a real problem. Not to mention that Kidd is also a great rebounder. When all is said and done, the only postion where they're small is PF - I doubt it will make a difference.

35 rebounds a game? From Howard and Lebron? 17.5 each?

Lebron in 2006 and 2008 are the same size...

The only position where they're small is PF? Maybe if Dwight plays the whole game...

By small I meant they have one legit big man. The rest are smallish 4s.

Sometimes it makes you think how the hell this team isn't winning the championships every year. I mean they're so stacked.

Howard in the international game can play 35-36 minutes easily. And with the interference rules, he can grab 20+ rebounds per game without breaking a sweat ... As a backup you have CB4 who is no slouch. He's not very strong, but he's almost 7 feet himself.

Lebron is the same size, but he's a better rebounder and a smarter player overal. He might not get 15 rebounds a game, but he could if he wanted to.

Alas with international refs they'll call travelling on Howard (and probably offensive fouls) every time, all the while giving European teams 4+ steps to the basket on layups...

Sigh, when will they ever learn

For your 8th-12th bench players, you don't need me-first chuckers like Redd. They honestly should've brought in some team guys like Posey or Battier
