As per his Facebook status. He says to log into his website on that day for an announcement.

What could it be...

I suspect it's nothing basketball related, unless maybe he's going to retire and try his hand at producing youtube videos on a full-time basis.

no longer relevant in the league? dude averaged 18/8, shooting 60% from the field this year.

Doug's 2 cents regarding Bosh's announcement on June 1st.

Don’t get your knickers in a knot. I presume – and this is a presumption based on only a couple of conversations – that it’s got something to do entirely divorced from anything about the Raptors.

It can’t be a contract extension – they can’t even talk about that until July; I don’t think he’d all of a sudden have a change of heart about declaring any huge 2010 intentions.

But I will say this: It’ll drive traffic to his site and that’s what it’s all about.

Does anyone remember when Chris first came to Toronto. He wrote a great little blog on the Raptors website detailing his first few months. He seemed quiet, softspoken and intelligent. While the intelligence undoubtedly hasn't changed, what's with the bling, the fashion and the whole 'tude (Vegas, baby!) that's been progressing over the past couple years? He's basically bookworm nerd in gangsta clothing and there's something not quite right about it.

agreed. he's a smart guy but this urkel/rupaul/ludacris business has to stop. i remember seeing early interviews with his when he was a rookie, and when they wrote a piece on him in SI early in the year after the AD/JYD - Jalen/Donyell trade. All he did was talk about basketball, working hard, and being the best in the league. I think somehow the Jay Leno shows and the youtube 15 mins of fame got to his head and now he's all caught up in hype and shit. and whats with his appetite. which reminds me, i need to go for some greasy breakfast.

it'll be something unrelated to playing bball on the court, which he's probably been spending a bunch of time on when he should be using that time to get his game up to par considering the crappy record of the team last year

This is just absolutely ridiculous. Yeah, he makes a couple of youtube videos and all of a sudden he's an egomaniac... Sometimes I wish Bosh would leave this god forsaken franchise just so in a few years everyone will be crying about how he left the organization.

Chris Bosh's youtube videos are unbelievably lame, he's just making a fool out of himself.
