Default BOSH ON REBOUNDING

Raptors' Bosh tired of talking about rebounding - Posted Sports

Quote:
I don't even know why we're talking about this. It's rebounding. That's all. It's rebounding," Bosh said. "You just get the basketball. That's all it's about. There's no talent. It's nothing, really. You just get the ball. And it's sad that we're sitting here talking about this before and after games.

"We just need to get the basketball. It's all about which teams wants it the most. If we want the ball more than the other team, we get the rebound together, as a team: put your body on a guy, whatever it takes to get the ball, do you know what I'm saying? And after that, you kill their will with one shot."

heh.

he's right though.

now, if only his suptreme wisdom could teach him not to be absolutely terrified to step in front of somebody on defence, its a little tiresome watching guys score on open lay ups when he's 1 foot away.

Well the only guys on the team that can be spotted under opponent basket are Bosh (major improvement over previous years!), Amir, Rasho and... DeMar.
Thats it, nobody else is even trying to get offensive boards.
Defensive - the semi-zone is taking its toll. Opponent shoots after missed assignment and help defense cancel any chance of proper posting out of "his man"

Oh - you mean when he's one foot away, and also guarding his man, and Bargnani's man? He has way too many holes to fill when the weak link is out there with him. And the second he helps at all, it means an offensive board for the opposing team.

every fucken time. We all want Bosh to be some bigtime shotblocker but every time's he blocks or contest's by attempting to block, his frontcourt running mate is 15 feet away from the rim just standing there watching with that stupid smirk
well, at least Bargnani can score
