The first of many this season. ; )

INSIDER 11-03-2008 05:32 PM

excellent choice.
he was instrumental in the 3 wins and just about took over when it counted.

how many times are we going to hear the MVP chant this season? ;)

Bosh/Calderon are the reasons we're 3-0! If not for those two players we're 1-2.

Congratulations to both Paul, and Bosh. The 2 Chris's both deserve this award. Keep it up to both.

2 of my favourite players in the NBA.

Ill be at the next game, gotta start the MVP chants while he is still in the hunt :P

Happy for Bosh, he obviously deserved it, he's gonna join the 20 and 10 plateau this season and if the raps keep playing like this (JO, CB4, Calderon,etc...), he might be in the MVP hunt

CB4 for MVP?

In the Hunt is a long shot. This race realisticly only includes Kobe/LBJ/CP3

Thats not really realistic to say its a 3 man race.... D12, Tmac and a host of others like Bosh that you may not expect could very well get in that race.

Jakub 11-04-2008 06:51 AM

Fantastic news, but I thought he get it :D

how can you put bosh and howard at the same level as lebron, paul or kobe? Those 3 are in a different class AND two of them are playing on elite teams. You can probably add duncan to that list as well, he will have to play heavy minutes ,and his production will be unbelievable this season. If they end up with 50+ wins, my money is on Duncan. Otherwise it's lebron or paul.

Snooch 11-04-2008 02:15 PM

If the Raps win over 50 games, then Bosh will be top 5.
Bosh is gonna average 20+ppg, 10+rpg, 4spg, 1+blocks

Ugo Ferst 11-04-2008 02:35 PM

To say it's a 3 man race is just silly imo, w/e u think about who is on what level... you dont know what player can break out and have a crazy year, but im sure you predicted Nash back to back, Dirk etc etc, its NOT a 3 man race, those 3 have the best chance but to dismiss any elite player from having a breakout or career year is silly.

Kris 11-04-2008 03:41 PM

Go Chris! Hopefully the start of many a good news item in Raptorland.

While I agree with you that it comes down to those 3 primarily, if we win 50+ games this year, and Bosh is our leader, you have to give him some MVP consideration, even if it's just token consideration.
