Thumbs up Bosh named Eastern Conference Player of the Week!

Quote:
Bosh finished the week as the league leader in rebounds (16.0 rpg) and ranked fifth among leaders in scoring (25.7 ppg.), while guiding the Raptors to a 3-0 week. He had a double-double in each game and became the first player in franchise history to record at least 20 points and 15 rebounds in three consecutive games. Against the Indiana Pacers, he posted 26 points, 15 rebounds and a season-high seven assists

I think it's important that Bosh gets this kind of accolaide... If he does he will be less likely to believe he has to be out of Canada to get recognition.

He deserves it this week for sure.

Well-deserved. Glad to see he's getting recognized for playing what I think is the best basketball of his career.

It's not just his scoring either, or his rebounding, we all know he could always do that. All of a sudden he's showing an ability to pass out of the double team and play very solid defense. If he keeps bringing those two facets of his game to the floor every night I don't see this team slowing down.

Good points. Notice he didn't get it when he scored 44 and lost, and had to cruise a bit on defense to be able to play bigger minutes. The accolades definitely come at the right time.

He has been balling all season, but the difference now is that the Raptors are winning ball games..

to score 44 pts and lose is not really saying much for Bosh, but to be playing well as he is playing and Raptors winning, now it looks as tho he is leading the team to victory

Yeah - he's really making players around him better, and allowing other guys to excel. That says more than 44 points.

I say he gets 5 more rebounds if he cuts the dreads off lol. The mop weights a couple of pounds.

I think that it helps a lot too that the wing players aren't a serious liability anymore.... they can hit shats and actually defend some... which helps Bosh out immensely.

Good luck with that. He's in the conversation, but he won't get MVP of the conference. This kid named Bron-Bron would.
